Great technique and power. Has shown a dodgy chin in the amateurs I believe. Hard to judge due to his level of competition, but if he can make the step up to the next level, he will be a star.
There has been no hype surrounding him at all. He's just a young prospect at the moment and while he looks like he could reach a decent level nobody is expecting him to go on to be a world beater. He's fought nobody of any worth yet will be interesting to see how he does against McDermott compared to Fury.
Spot on, he mighn't be quick but his technique pisses all over Fury's. I don't think he will be catching himself with uppercuts anytime soon. decent amatuer background and doesn't have half the hype Fury does even though Fury has looked like dog**** against McDermott
I think a lot of people are scared to hype him due to fact he apparently has pretty poor punch resistance. So far in the pro's he has looked very good though, very decent and aslong as his chin holds up he is in with a good shout at getting a title when the klitschkos have gone. He needs to fight a lot more than he has been doing, its hampering his career especially with the level of opposition. Looking forward to the McDermott fight though, will answer a lot of questions.
Agreeded, big fan of Price he use's his height well, works off his jab and has one punch power in his right hand but so far he's has a bunch of injury's and just bad luck and timing but if he wins his next fight i think he's Fury man for his Commonwealth Title which Fury will give up to keep from fighting him. Fury hype but Price is for real
Contrary to popular belief he was not even that good of an amateur. He only had like three notable wins and one was against a guy recovering from a brain tumor and recently having complications from a nearly burst apendix. The top guy for the U.K. currently in the amateurs(Joshua) will be a much better pro than Price.
Whats the hype about? Shakes head in disgust He is the size of Klitschko he was a great amatuer, he can punch hard. David Price is really good
Ha there's pretty much no hype whatsoever. He's got size, very sound technique and seems to possess a fair amount of power which, in today's heavyweight climate, may take him quite far. Really could do with being moved along faster though.
