I know all of Arum's lies. But if we must hate the guy for his shortcomings although he's brought us the biggest fights, where is the hate for other promoters who are lying scumbags like Arum who haven't produced anything we want to see? Where is the balance of hate? Why do you hold Arum to a different standard where there are many like him who have brought us much less? Is it a personal thing?

Why don't you post Ellerbe's claim that there are no negotiations and that Arum has said he lied yesterday but telling the truth today. Then follow it up with Ross Greenburg saying there were negotiations.

What I want to know is where is the hate for other lying scumbag promoters like Oscar who tried to steal Pac while under contract with Top Rank? How about Paul Williams promoter who hasn't done much for his career? What about Gary Shaw who is on even terms with Arum when it comes to being a spiteful person? Does Arum really deserve 100% of all promoter hatred?

I don't know why any Pac fan would like or defend Arum. Seriously, you guys should hate him more than anybody. He's robbing Pacquiao, lying to him, treating him like a dog and ruining his legacy and reputataion. But what do you guys do? Floyd also made Pac file a lawsuit, and Arum walk away from the table. He then planned to go to jail all in an effort to avoid fighting Pac.

Where did I say that I like Arum? My debate here is why he gets 100% of the promoter hate when he is THE stereotypical boxing promoter, a lying scumbag who gets you to buy his product. It's true Arum takes a big cut from Pac. It's also true Pac made most of his millions against Top Rank fighters while he occassional let Pac fight Golden Boy's best. Without Arum, there would have been no Pac-Cotto, no Pac-Margarito. Not even sure there would have been Pac-Mayweather the way Floyd acts when Pac is mentioned. What other promoter could have made 2 high paying fights for a fighter who just got caught trying to use plaster? Whether you like Arum or not, he is one of the 2 best boxing promoters of all time. He gets MOST fights done. It is the few fights he hasn't gotten done that gets him all the hate.

 

Arum is the biggest fight stopper in boxing, period. How many fights has he tried to ruin for his own personal greed and to get his way. Every elite fighter that arum has ever promoted left hating him. Not just Floyd, and Oscar as some dumbass (lance) would have us think.

Arum only interest is in controlling things. He tried to stop Williams vs margo, even took Margo to court to stop the fight. He tried to stop Pac vs Hatton. He hide Cotto from floyd, Margo from Wright. His only interest was top rank fighters beatting up none treats that arent top rank fighters and only fighting tough top rank fighters. That way no matter what happens he has the winner. Unlike King would would simply ask for a couple of option fights from none roster fighters. Arum just refuses to make the fights.

Mark my word Pac next fight will be vs Cotto, Chavez Jr both top rank fighters, or Peterson a non-treat.

 

Why you laughing? He just posted 4 great fights by another promoter, ALL in house fights, the very reason Bob Arum is being hated on here. But no hate for De La Hoya?
