What exactly has Bob Arum done to get so much hate?

Some have left. But why not mention some have joined? Why did you conveniently leave that part out? Mosley cut off his partners in GBP to do some business with Top Rank. JMM joined.

Berto-Ortiz and Peterson-Khan were not in-house fights. Try again.

You dont know enough about boxing for me to debate it with you. You only know boxing though Pac's eye.

History shows that fighters leave hating Arum. However fighters still fighting will go to arum to make money fights knowing full well its really the only way to get to his fighters. Its not anything new.

I'm not saying I like Arum, but he's very very good and he's good for the sport.

    Is that what you're saying?

Lamont doesn't work for GBP and neither does Berto :patsch

Taking advantage of a nice guy like Pacman, especially gets people who didn't know any better hating him. He is one dirty mother fvcker, and he has political pull as well. That is the only way they he could get an FBI probe dropped, even though people were standing in line to testify against him.

Arum constantly rips his fighters off. Look at the huge cut of the Pacman pie that he gets, that is ridiculous. He was doing the same thing to Mayweather, that is why Mayweather left. Another thing is, he doesn't even try to market or promote his black fighters. He often treats them like ****. Why wasn't Raheem given the Pac fight after he whooped Morales? Why has Rigodeux only been fighting once every six months? Yet Arum makes sure his light of skin latin fighters are more active. Fvck Arum. He is a scum, dirt bag all around.

Arum helped promote him into what he is, but Arum was also ripping him off, financially, and was trying to get him to resign, telling him he could only make a certain amount, Mayweather called his bluff, smartly, and now makes much more than he would have been getting if Arum was still promoting/taking much more than he should have been.

For the little good that arum dose in boxing, Cotto margarito 1 & 2 Pacquiao Marquez trilogy some of Ali's fights De la hoya, Mayweather Corrales etc there is always a lot of self serving bad stuff that rob the fans and the boxers of current and future fights.
Biggest obvious example of why arum is despicable is Cotto Mararito 1 and 2 great fights from the out side but they are laced with questions like, was the gloves tampered with? (yes!), why is this guy who had loaded gloves fighting Pacquiao for his biggest payday yet? why is this guy with the messed up lazy fake eye fighting again? etc. with arum it's never just the business of boxing it's always the business of Arum. with that type of mentality you won't see the best fights unless his fighter get big, buy out their contract and leave Arum which is still a win for Arum at the end of the day.

Arum also promoted Leonard-Hagler, Hagler-Hearns, Hearns-Leonard II, Hagler-Duran (and rejuvenated Duran's career in comeback victory vs Moore after Don King kicked Duran out the door Dana White-style after a couple losses, Duran vs Barkley aswell), Arguello-Pryor, Castillo-Corrales, Morales-Barrera trilogy, Pac-Morales, some of the most significant fights in boxing history over the decades. I'd like to see an exact list of every single big fight he promoted in his time. Probably have to wait till after he dies and someone writes an article. His reputation has gone to **** in the last decade, his saving grace for his legacy will be the great number of great fights he did bring to the sport spanning his entire career.

Does anyone know what Bob's thoughts on the first Pacquiao-Marquez fight were? I believe that was before Pac was with Top Rank and JMM was. I'd love to listen to his post-fight interviews. He was probably talking **** about Pac.
