He is irrelevant in boxing today. He is only talked about on here cause of his fans. Most other boxing fans aknowledge his accomplishments and have moved on.

Did did and did. Winner of 24 world title fights, cleared out the SMW division a prospect that Ward has backed down from. Won WBO WBC IBF WBA RING SMW titles and the Ring LHW title.
Ward fights Calzaghes leftovers and fighters who losses date back to Calzaghe :hi:

Ward made easier work of Kessler than Calzaghe did. Ward took on Froch while Calzaghe couldn't retire fast enough to get away from the Cobra. Joe retired so there's no point in saying he would do this or that anyway.

:patsch Calzaghe made easier work of Bika than Ward.
Calzaghe beat undefeated Kessler, Ward beat beaten Kessler.
Dummy about the Cobra, this shows how thick and deluded you are. Calzaghe had cleaned out the SMW division had 2 fights at LHW and retired before Froch even won a SMW title. Then Froch lost to a Calzaghe leftover

That was clearly an illegal blow landed by Jones Jr. More to the point though; **** Hopkins. He's tried that same bull**** in a few fights now. He's too keen to be rolling around on the mat play-acting. He's good for his age but when he can't take the heat he cries and bitches like a girl.

Wards ability to fight at full potential for only 7,8 rounds would make for a tough last few rounds with calzaghe. i think it would be close maybe Calzaghe even knicks a SD

Well he isnt irrelivent because he still talked about by his fans, no matter how deluded some of them are. A good percentage of of new threads are started on this forum concern Calzaghe and his achievements, by fans who worship him and fans who cannot stand the man, the man has been retired for a good few years yet he is still a hot topic day in day out. I consider myself a fan of the fighter not the man, as far as im concerned he should be acknowledged for what he did manage to achieve and it would be nice to debate the topic with posters who are more objective and less fanatic. Most Calzaghe threads consist of the same tiresome posters childishly argueing all the time which is unfortunate.:good

The fact that you consider Ward better than an undefeated great at this stage of his career just shows how delusional you are.

The only posters who consider Slappy Joe a great are a few limey's who werent breast fed.

Slappy Joe may have had great ability, but he lost his balls somewhere in all the blow he did.

Ward is the future. Slaps is long gone.
