Safe to say you've never been to the Philippines and have no clue. Filipinos get fixated on Pac only during his training leading up to his fights. Sportswise, basketball and our improving soccer team still dominate the sports pages and discussions the rest of the year.

Oh look at that, 6 days since the last Pac article written on the Philippine's most popular newspaper. He gets even more attention in foreign news agencies like Yahoo. You are one clueless owned fool.

Your basketball and soccer teams are nowhere near world level. The only sport you do have talented athletes in is Boxing. To say that Pac is not more important to the Filipino people than any other sport is ridiculous. He might get much more attention during the fight camps and promotion tours, but they are still fixated with him year round.

Where's the proof? Where are all these Filipino newspaper articles about Pac? Just because our basketball teams and soccer teams aren't elite level yet doesn't mean Filipinos can't be passionate about their favorite sports. Soccer is the number 1 sport in almost every country in the world, but are they all world class? No. Same as our basketball and soccer teams. They are not world elite, but not shabby either.

NBA stars (Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Tyreke Evans, James Harden, Javale McGee) got paid $400,000 each to play 2 games against our pro all stars and national team this past summer. Similarly with our national soccer team against the David Beckham and the LA Galaxy just a few weeks ago.

I'm not saying that Filipinos aren't passionate about other sports, but I am saying that Pac stands above them all. You and your crew here alone only talk about Pac. The fact that you guys made him a congressman and are considering him for President only further shows how devoted the Filipinos are to him.

Pac lost his first congressional bid. His continuous generosity and drive to help people helped him win a seat along with his popularity and so far he has not disappointed with his job approval. BTW, Pac is not alone when it comes to star athletes getting elected into office in the Philippines. There are quite a few of them.

I wonder if he will win Homecoming king... Since that is very important in boxing.

I think it had more to do with his continuous rise in popularity. I would imagine there are far more qualified and intelligent Filipinos that could fill the place of a boxer with a poor education in Congress. Like I said before there might be other popular Filipino star athletes but none even come close to Pac.

He is the most popular without a doubt. But your claims that Filipinos are fixated only on Pac and nothing else, is false.

Basketball is the number 1 sport in the Philippines with maybe boxing a distant 2nd. Mexico's center Adam Parada even played in our local pro league.

Maybe you misunderstood me. My claims aren't that they are only fixated on Pac, but that all Filipinos are fixated on Pac, and the majority don't know anything else about boxing outside of Pac.

In Mexico Basketball comes after Soccer, Boxing, and Baseball, so I don't even know who that guy is, but I can see your point.

In your last several posts you have shown that you are knowledgable and can carry on a conversation with intelligence, I don't understand why you resort to childish and trollish banter in other threads.

Haters deserve to be trolled. Besides, you can use intelligence while you troll. Dumb trolls just embarrass themselves.

That's the thing I know there are *****s who deserve to be called out, but you hate on other boxers, just because they aren't named Pac. I have yet to see an intelligent troll. Trolling is only funny in the lounge, but when it comes to boxing it just makes people look pitiful.

Seaching Google with "Pacquaio is" will generate what you posted.... But leave out the "is"......and you don't get anything related to PED's or steroids.
