Warned and deducted point perhaps. But a DQ? Not likely.

Fighters like Ward and Bute are good at counter punching, but they dont just sit back and wait for the opponent to come to them. Instead they are aggressive and take the lead. Judges tend to like that, in Nothingham and elsewhere. In Calzaghe against Hopkins we saw ***** slaps triumph over clean and hard counter punching. Real winners dont end up disagreeing with the judges, instead they give the judges what they want. Dirrell clearly fought the wrong fight. That is why I label it as a slip up rather than a robbery.

Abraham is a disgrace, but it is still not a very good idea to slip and leave yourself completly unprotected. Dirrell did the same thing in his previous fight against Froch. His big brother should have made sure Dirrell never did that mistake ever again, insted of going on a macho rampage after the disaster had already happened. I cant think of any other world class fighter that slips like that.

It cant have been many. But he did land a bunch of sloppy ones. What happens if Dirrell face a faster and more accurate puncher than Froch? I can see him lose to Bute.

I look forward to some exciting match ups, but I suspect that the lack of intelligence in team Dirrell will keep causing his career trouble.

i find alexander the most annoying. should of lost his last 3 fights in a row, weird barking noise when he punches, most of his punches are short with no power and quit against bradley. i thought he had a future when he knocked out urango, but guess that was a fluke. although thinking back to that fight wasnt he down on the cards at the time? sign of things to come i guess

Andre Berto has been disappointing I stopped ****ing with him since that Collazo fight his ring generalship and IQ make me cringe. I agree with the others Alexander has been a bust thus far and just is not improving dispite being 23. Jermaine Taylor I have respect for because the guy constantly fought the best and ducked no one. Dirrell has been public enemy #1 for whatever reason because 2/3 of this forum think they are doctors and say he was faking, maybe he was but fact remains he was winning against a undefeated Abraham and I felt he won against Froch in Nottingham. I almost forgot Zab Judah is a huge ****up he has been making NY look real bad time after time.

OP insists that Direll is an innocent victim of hometown cooking, biased referees, rabbit punching brawlers from Nottingham and slippery canvas in combination with evil Armenians. I have tried to talk reason with him, but he refuses to listen, and even think Direll is to be seen as number two in the division :blood

Whatever the reason is, if you are that talented, even more than ward yet have glass heart and mindset and rarely fights its very dissapointing.
Even outside of the s6 he should ahve been fighting top guys already.
Its not to late but things dont look good while he has all the talent to become the number 1 guy at 168.

Daniel Jacobs since he should never have lost against Pirog the way he did and he clearly underperformed in that fight. More skilled than Lacy, therefore more should be expected of him if he's properly healed.

Most see Dirrell on talent as the 2nd best fighter in the division. Proving it remains to be seen. Stop trolling.
