Tony knows he needs a Ko cause he won't win on points in the UK

    Why in England?

I see JT catching Calzaghe as he throughs his slapping flurries to get in, similar to the success Hopkins had early in their fight. Except Toney was better than Hopkins on the inside, and this fight would likely be fought on the inside.

Toney wins via TKO. Even in England.

Calzaghe was adaptable and versatile, but he's too open to right hands and if he opens up, he'd be too easy to counter. Toney was more accurate, more skilled, sharper, and had better timing than Mikkel Kessler could ever dream of.

The reason I pic England is for tony to want the Ko more and joe would have the crowd on his side pushing him

I would the tony by late stoppage and wining on the cards up to that point

I think tony lands the same counter right hands and hooks he was landing in the Michael nun fight but with alot more success

Toney lands so many counters in the pocket he sends Zaggers in a time machine to the year 2011, fat and coke-addled.

Calzaghe is Welsh. not english. Toney is over-rated, especially by yanks, and he loses by wide UD. Calzaghe too quick and too much activity, i find it very hard to see Toney winning on scorecards. As for Toney getting a stoppage, well Calzaghe was never stopped, so anyone saying Toney wins by stoppage is stretching.

Toney's 168lbs resume was absolutley terrible.

Barkley had just lost KO1 to Nigel Benn and been beaten by a shot Duran ffs.

Easy fight to call, Joe by UD.

Toney would struggle with Joe's footspeed, stamina & workrate.

He'd have his moments but Toney wouldnt do enough to win more than 4 maybe 5 rounds imo

A man thats never been KOD or TKOd will loose to a medium puncher via TKO?

    hmmm.

I know its going againat the grain but i see Calzaghe swarming and outworkin JT to a UD.

Toney would be the absolute worst style match up for Joe.....he'd counter Joe so often as Joe came rushing in trying to overwhelm him with that open D and charging in with pitty pat combos. Toney is a pin poiint accurate counter puncher and Joe's wide open when he throws and he does it in high volume....bad style match up for Joe. Toney would put Joe on the canvass repeatedly until it got stopped. Superior boxing skill, timing and power would seal the deal for Toney....Calzaghe's speed would be useless
