    This is seriously stupid.

He's never looked like he did in WWE whilst fighting. Why would he want to be topping 300Ibs if he has to cut to 265Ibs? Why would he want to abuse steroids to get that look, when that would hurt his stamina and make him more liable to tendon and muscle tears.

And seriously, you really are exposing how little you actually follow the modern sport. Commissions allow for fighters to be one pound over in non-title fights. Its why Diaz on the second attempt made weight at 156Ibs.

Yes. You're such an expert about the sport that you don't understand how weigh-ins work.

Then you should know that all fighters are given a 1 pound leeway, in case of minor mechanical fault with the scales. Only reason this does not apply is I believe in title fights.

Also, could you use all these years of experience following the sport to explain to me how exactly Anderson Silva will be able to keep the fight standing for long enough to beat Jon Jones with strikes. Will he be able to stuff Jones' takedowns, or will Jones' fightplan be to stand and trade with Anderson, rather than taking him down? :thumbsup

He doesn't need to keep the fight standing. Jones takes the fight to the ground then Silva could very possibly sub him off his back. Those long limbs of Jones are a BJJ black belt's dream plus Jones has said JiuJitsu is his weakness.

Btw you still haven't answered why Lesnar would want to be over 300Ibs when he has to cut to 265Ibs.

And I'm still waiting on that list of things Zuffa did to destroy the Grand Prix.

No doubt like always you'll just ignore discussions where you're proven wrong.

Brock's builld is huge but he obviously doesn't work on definition which doesn't help in mma anyhow. overeem with all that dense muscle will need alot of O2 to feed all that muscle. I think Brock's best bet will to be get out of the first round if he can and make Reem work on stopping TD's which will make him work. I don't see this going the distance.

Is this a 5 rounder considering it's the main event?

wow reem looks bigger than his days at SF, all while being ripped up too. that guy must be on the good stuff. Even if he is, he has good genetics to carry the weight and bulk lean mass the way he has.

That's all well and good, but Scurla claimed that Silva would "humiliate" Jones.

He went on to write this:

    To which I responded:

To which scurla didn't deign to provide a response. :conf

I genuinely would like to know why it's a given that Anderson "humiliates" Jones, and why Jones is unable to take Anderson down when he ragdolls guys like Hamill, Bader, Shogun and Machida.
