ANDRE WARD, type of fighter who won't duck anybody!

not quite true.if a fighter draw more people than you,you'll usualy fight in his home for more $ reason.Ward won't draw more than 6k wherever he will fight.A fight with Bute would make $ sense in Canada,where 20k tickets would be sold in 15 min,but Ward won't travel.Then again,if Bute fights Froch i would be desapointed if he won't travel in Nottingham where the money would be the same.

The fans want the fight.

Showtime wants the fight.

Bute wants the fight even in Oakland.

Only Ward and his nutlikers don't want the Bute fight.

It's a pretty strong division IMO..

 

it was about home advantage decisions, not about who's the biggest draw.

Bute will go in U.K , USA ( Vegas, N.Y ) . I think the fight against Froch will be made. Froch can sell more anywhere in U.K than Ward in Okeland.

 

I like Ward, I'm not a "Huge" fan but I respect the kid. I'd love to see him fight Bute, I beleive Bute is supermely talented but something tells me Ward would maul him en route to a UD or TKO due to swelling and or cuts. Just my opinion.

I agree the fight should take place in Canada because of the enormous potential for big profits, plus the Canadians always put on an elaborate light show with cheesy music, tacky...yes...but excellent marketing for a large fan base.

 

Anyone who believes BUTE or any other SMW would beat WARD Should stop Watching boxing!

 

Ward barely lost any rounds in the entire tournament! He pretty much dominated in every fight. So yeah it's pretty stupid. The only way Ward would have lost going away was if they robbed him in the cards.

 

There's absolutly no evidence that make your statement valid. Seriously name a fight involving Ward that would have potenially turned out differently if it was fought in another country?

 

true,that's why he want to fight Bute so bad and his fans are demanding this fight :rofl.He should retire now or move up if he cleared the division where there is a longer undefeated champion ranked higher than him in the last 5 years cause his job is done.

that was my point,Bute should not travel to jOakland where he will be headbutted to a lost just like Kessler was in front of Ward's family and closest friends who paid the tickets,he should demand this fight in Montreal where the money and the fans are.But he should travel to Froch or Kessler if they ever sign a deal and prove everyone he's a warrior,not an Ottke like Ward is....

 

Ward was allowed to do stuff in the Kessler fight that most likely would have warranted warnings and perhaps point deductions outside Oakland. I wonder if the full body weight headbutt that so to speak has became Wards trademark, even if he only used it once as far as I know, could have resulted in a DQ.

 

he busted up Kessler real nice,both eyes cut from headbutts and not even a warning.he should have been disqualified that fight.
