    I think you're right.

It's been the only time though that i can watch the games live. Normally it's avoiding the results and catching the highlights the next day. Probabily my last night.

    Back to work next week....:|

It's a shame that Bradley refused to fight Pac, but I would watch Marquez fight................

I'd be really happy for Lamont if he got a payday against Pacquaio. Before people start getting funky. That fight is no worse than Mayweather/Ortiz.

Yeah but Floyd-Ortiz was a complete waste of time. Even before the fight.

I know (i'm sure you were saying that before the fight) but i get the feeling that people who really supported May/Ortiz would be against Pac/Lamont. That's who that comment was directed at. I didn't hear many people saying it was a waste of time before it happened. In fact the consensus was, good on Floyd for taking on a primed young welter coming off of a career best win, where he fought like a man possessed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a fight that really intrigues me, but i'd still be happy for Peterson if he got it. Not exactly like there's many options for Pacquiao either right now, so if Bradley fights Marquez. Wouldn't be mad at Pacquiao if he took a Peterson fight, whilst waiting for Floyd to get out of the joint.

I like this fight, Id have to favour Marquez but like many others I don't think it will be straightforward at all, Bradley is solid in everything he does and dos'nt give much away, I think Marquez's class will shine through in the end and nicks a close win on points.

Folk will still 'get funky' though - that's just how folks are. I was disappointed with Mosley as an opponent. Not because of the fact Floyd had beaten him, but the fight with Mora soured me on the idea that Mosley would be competitive. I can see why there was criticism - post-fight funnily enough - of the matchmaking.

But there can be no "past-prime", "too small" or "Floyd beat him first" discrediting of Peterson. The only thing about the fact is Peterson's style is tailor made for Pacquiao, but I still think Peterson would give him a good fight.

As for Marquez vs. Bradley? I'd rather see Marquez vs. Pacquiao IV - with international judges appointed by the WBO - but if that fight can't happen and Marquez isn't going to consider continuing at lightweight, you can't complain about him fighting the top dog at 140lbs.

I would actually rather see Bradley/Marquez mate. We've got nothing to learn from seeing Pacquiao/Marquez again. It's always ganna be the same fight no matter how many times they fight, unless one of them significantly passes that hill which won't show us the true reflection. Marquez/Bradley is something fresh and more intriguing to me (could be alone in that though).

Yep i'm same, for me Juan has beaten Manny twice at the very least and the fourth fight i can't see following any different path to the 3rd bar Pacquiao chasing JMM and opening up to counters more. I know who better man is there but the Bradley fight intrigues me. Tactical and Technical aspects really make me think it could be a great fight.

  13. But Ortiz is bigger!

Despite being ****ing **** at anything other than quitting.

The more I think about it I could see Marquez stopping him.

Bradley won't be hit as often, as hard and as accurately as what he'd have to take to win this fight.

Whilst he is an underrated ring general in his own right, he'd be going in with a master here.... not a fight I like for him personally.

Yeah, I kinda get this view.

I just want to see Marquez get his win :-(

That much is true, I guess there will always be a part of me that wants to see Marquez have his hand raised at least once against Pacquiao. That's really the only reason I want to see them fight again!

Agree totally, Mand. It's a fight that would tell us so much about Bradley. So many moving parts to that match-up. Wouldn't mind seeing Pacquiao/Bradley either.
