Ovil McKenzie vs Tony Dodson Feb 3rd

I wouldnt take things so much to heart Tony, on the internet people are always going to have differing opinions and enjoy being on the wind up, and the argument that none of us can criticise a boxer because we haven't acheived as much as them kind of destroys what a forum is all about. Dont bite else you'll get a really hard time here and the people who like having boxers to chat to on here will miss out.

 

Would rather see Menay-McKenzie.

Who was once ranked P4P no.1. In fact, Dodson may well have dethroned 'Emperor' Menay when he sat upon the throne of boxing. Ergo, Tony Dodson is P4P no.1. I think McKenzie will beat him, but Bellew beat Orville and Clev' beat him, well I had it a draw so really Bellew and Cleverly are joint no.1.

Will Pac' or Floyd move up and take on the big challenge? :think

think if ovil lands its goodnight but dodson is a much schooled boxer who should take a ud if he can stay away from the bombs

 

there is some **** being talked on here, mckenzie is a journeyman and the first bellew fight he got lucky, he hurt bellew twice and couldnt finish him because he is a journeyman, he is big and strong and takes a good shot but can very easily be outboxed and has poor stamia. people seem to be having a go at dodson's last few fights or rather who he faced. prizefighter you cant choose who you face and very few top level fighters will enter in their prime, so its about beating who is infront of you and dodson done that. babulua was in the form of his life before that fight and edwards was a few levels below tony and he showed that. mckenzie faced two old fighters well past there prime (who both would beat him in there day) and no one mentions that! mckenzie has two lost out of the last three and beat a novice last time out,i havent posted to have a go at mckenzie he comes to fight and i am sure were in for a good fight but i do sense a lot of hate towards dodson. everybody can have there say but show some respect, tony has been a soild pro and been in some good fights.

Calling Mckenzie a journeyman and saying he could be "easily" outboxed could be seen as pretty disrespectful as well, so what if someone thinks Dodson cant take a punch, might be that they just know **** all about boxing as opposed to blind hatred and being disrespectful.

As for my opinion of the fight, I see Tony outboxing and outworking Ovil, You give the man angles and he's lost, You go in and out in straight lines with ya hands low then he will hurt ya! Tony is a nice boxer when he chooses to be an I fully expect him to box and keep stepping the pace up as it goes on.. McKenzie dows have a good chin but so does Tony!!

Im going for Dodson win and I'll be there screaming for him to do it too!!
