I corresponded with three posters while I was away, two offered to substitute for me. The question that never got answered is ,when you knew you were coming to the UK ,why did you not contact me? You were not interested in meeting me anywhere in the UK, because you are a lying, yellow, coward ,and a trawl back through your posts established just when you left the US as you posted on a thread I made .I sent a PUBLIC MESSAGE to you on that thread asking when you would arrive ,and at what terminal? I also sent you two PM's while you were active on this forum ,the week before you flew to the UK. You responded to NONE of them. I called your bluff ,you gutless piece of ****
jOHN THOMEAS When i came to australis i mAE IT CLEAR WHERE I WANTED TO MEAT YOU IN THE RING BY YOUR HOUSE IN THAT CARPARK NEAR THE SUPERMAERKET but when i got to australia YOU WERENT THERE YOU LOWFLIFE COWARD ******* WHOREMONGER
Some good points. Stylistically, I do think of Johnson as a Hopkins-styled fighter, but like Hopkins someone who can be flustered by an opponent with excellent speed and high work rate. Just look at what the diminutive O'Brien was able to do. If you add Dempsey's power, I think the balance tips to Jack beating any version of Johnson who ever entered the ring. I hear so much of a prime 208 pound Johnson, but I do not see anywhere in his record where this version was sustained or had fought a dynamic, real heavyweight. In fact, his best victories were at far lesser weights. So, as far as provable commodities, I would pit a 190 pound Johnson against he same of Dempsey. That would be a corker. As far as the color line, I think you are spot on. The press was instigating a Johnson title fight for some time. After his reign, with the influence of the dominant managers and promoters, they retreated from this stance.
Two different styles does not make one better than the other, Johnson was apure boxer and dominated when allowed to, by his own admission he was not a huge puncher, Dempsey as we know was Dempsey, a vicious killer unleashed in the ring, hard as nails, great jaw and incredible will to win, I see this similar to Charles Marciano.
But is was not 20 rounds. Those who understand boxing ( not you ) realize the fight would have been fought at a quicker pace, and Willard would have pressed the action earlier if the fight had been scheduled for 20 rounds. By the way, you never disclosed the injury on why you went dark for 3 months when I was trying to arrange things multiple times, nor did you ever pick a ring! In fact when you chimed too late, you picked the one place where I had no interest of seeing you. The airport. You and Johnson sure tell nice lies. But we both know the facts, and you will go to you grave a coward and a liar. I suppose that is better 20 seconds, which would be the over / under on how long you would last if we ever meet in the ring.
I never said I had an injury, I was hospitalized , but I fail to see that it is any of your business why . You tried to arrange nothing, I posted you when you were home, in the US . I posted a public message which you ignored despite the fact that you had been active on this forum that very day. I sent you two P M's that week ,whilst you were still in the States ,which you also ignored. At no time did you attempt to contact me, either while you were in the US ,or in the UK, nor did you respond in any way to my inquiries. Now, if you persist in these fantasy lies, I will trawl back through the posts and put them on this forum ,showing the dates, this will clearly establish who is telling the truth regarding the timelines ,and messages, and who is attempting to cover his arse which fell out when his bluff was called. I would fight you in your front room you *****. You've never had a fight in a ring ,and the thought of being spanked by an old man made you **** yourself, you know it,I know it, and so does everyone on this forum. Now stop with the crap, you'll start to believe it soon.
