Most disappointing African American fighter of the last 5 years?

World champion fighters being called disappointing?? Funny coming from a bunch of guys who dont have a clue what it takes to be one of the very best in the world at doing what you do.

All those fighters are limited at the elite level. For what ever Reason Taylor, who has all the skills just seems to fall apart late in fights.

Lacy isnt that skilled, that is enough about him

Alexander lost to one of the best fighters in the world really not much shame in that.

The most dissapointing black fighter for me has been Ricardo Williams jr

 

Lacy!!! Haha! At least Tayor won the real middleweight title. Alexander is whack, but he didn't fall off of the mountain the way Lacy did.

 

Given his overall ability and skillset...I think I would have to say Zab Judah...For a man to posses all that talent, he seems to always finds a way lose!

 

May only fought once, too skilled to be fighting once a year, should fight at the very least 3 fights, same with Rigondeaux and all other fighters, more fights, better for all us Boxing fans, now a days top fighters rarely fight 3 or more times a year.

Disappointing?


It is just that posters here hype up some fighters beyond their actual capability. When they crash, they end up being "disappointment". Example - Dwason was being hailed among the PFP fighters despite not even earning his stripes. Anybody can look spectacular against bums.

Fighters who are disappointing are fighters who never lived up to their ACTUAL capability as opposed to ESB's IDIOTIC and UNREALISTIC PERCEPTION of a fighter's skills. For example - Zab Judah, Joan Guzman.

 

Certainly don't know why Alexander is on the list?

Suppose he beats Maidana? Not at all inconceivable.

They're all disappointing. I think the rap bling bling mentality overcame them and they're now more interested in making money than what boxings all about.
