:rofl:roflIs that the best you can do?:rofl:rofl

The gif is a prime example of the poor positions Marquez forced Pacquiao to be in.
Pacquiao comes in throwing two gaugers to use as momentum to vaunt his straight left.
The opportunity to launch the left for Pacquiao is void when Pacquiao has to duck Marquez left hook.

Having to duck that left hook put Pacquiao up close to Marquez where Pacquiao is very poor at operating.

After Pacquiao ducks that left hook, he's left with his own feet parralel to eachother. From that position, he cant drive toward Marquez, or even twist his body and waist to get some good torque on his punch headed toward Marquez.

Let me hand over to you some education *******s. This is exactly why you dont watch and count punches on slo-mo replay. The punch lands, but its virtually an ineffective punch that was landed.
Pacquiao does'nt drive or **** his momentum to drive that punch to Marquez and make it effective.

Look at Pacquiao delivering that punch?
Pacquiao's head is nearly at Marquez chest, and instead of shifting to creat momentum to throw the punch, he just lifts his hand up and taps Marquez on the cheek.

    Marquez stunned?:lol::nut

Go watch that same replay in real time and continue to watch the seconds after that punch was landed, and you'll see that Marquez took that punch like it was landed by a nuisance fly.

My fellow ESB'ers, the punch in this gif is exactly what Pacquiao was reduced to in his punch connects. Little drive or torque behind them and rendered virtually ineffective, while Marquez consistently througout the fight round after round landed the more authoriatative and demonstative effective blows.

Wow! Marquez was staggered by that punch say's a *******.:patsch
This is sad, and even sadder when a ******* puts up a gif that clearly shows the opposite of what he's trying to call effective.:nut

Any fight fan calling that connect effective has no sense what so ever of what an effective connect is......and this ******* has talked himself into believing Marquez was stunned there.

Glad to be of education to you *******s.

Pac is getting old and he's definitely slowing down. I think Pac fought JMM tactically simply because he doesn't have it in him to go balls out anymore. You can see he's not the same fighter from as recently as the Cotto fight. If he keeps fighting within this next 2 years he will get beat by someone younger and hungrier. Factor in the fact that Pac never fights safe and fights in a division where everyone outweighs him by at least 10-15 pounds, I can see it happening as soon as his next fight depending on who it is. Someone like Khan who can match his speed can catch him clean and I can see someone like that beating him. Lamont Peterson isn't a gimme neither.

I love how Marquez on Golpe a Golpe said that the punch-stats favored him in the first two encounters and they didn't give him the decision, whereas now they try and use it to justify the decision in this fight; no consistency.

There is no consistency when dealing with politics and $$$. People will do anything when it applies to the latter.

It's a double-edged sword, really. JMM had the better compubox stats in the second fight and Marquez fans were using them in their argument and Pac fans were disregarding them. Now the tables have turned. It's just like the close rounds should've been given to the champion. JMM was the champ in the second fight and JMM fans argued that the close rounds were his. Now in the third fight, Pac fans gave the close rounds to Pac because he was the champ. Everyone is being hypocritical here. They are using the same arguments that they used to dispute in the previous match.

It's funny how some *******s in here have called me a Floyd fan, I'm a fan of his boxing because if your a fan of boxing you have to appreciate his skill, Tho I do dislike him as a person. I have even said on here I wish pac would kick his Ass I still get labeled as a ***** here just because I feel jmm won the 3rd fight. 1st was a pac win, 2nd a draw or sd for either and 3rd was a clear win for jmm. I think this trilogy is a draw and give credit to pac but hate how jmm can't get no offical credit. I did some boxing before and know how hard it is to step in the ring, the hard work they put in , the blows they take etc and for jmm to not get the offical w was heartbreaking. It's a sport turned into a business,.and *******s have to accept that. Maybe their boy pac got a little help.

There is no need to analyse a simple exchange that deeply. This is not gymnastics or figure skating where fighters get marked on form and execution. If a punch lands and hurts, or stops and opponent on his tracks it's effective.

Marquez wasn't stunned, but he staggered backwards. He didn't see the punch coming and he may have been off balance as he was readying to throw a right. Pac evaded a wild punch, countered him and made him pay. Pac won that exchange. Simple as.

This is why I respect the **** out of this man. He says the things everyone is thinking, when other boxers might not express themselves all to well, Marquez always has a sharp mind and speaks truth.

You can truly see why he's so smart in the ring, because he's so smart outside of it.

I don't recall many people who had Marquez winning the second fight relying on nonsense like CompuBox numbers or "You have to take the belt from the champ" to the same ridicuoulus extent most of the more simple-minded Pacquiao partisans (who of course have also deployed two more laughable arguments with "FACIAL DAMAGE!!!!" and "FOOTSTOMPING!!!") have in the aftermath of the third.

Well, I do. I was a member on boxing scene during the fresh days of the aftermath of JMM/Pac 2 and I do recall the same arguments on that board.

*******s don't know how to score fights, so you're wasting your time
