I was up and watching the UFC, totally forgotten about this card. Pleasant surprise!

round 2 - garcia keeps his left hand low and his right hand at chest height, johnson has a bit of confidence and coming towards him dn throwing some straights, but garcias lead right hands. nice right hand by johnson. nice again. oh judahesque left uppercut when they are coming in, johnson flat footing and looking for the counter left hand. johnson span around almost by a right hand, johnson looking a bit op…oh nice double backhand by garcia. another right hand by garcia.

great start by johnson but the later work garcia kept tagging him

Farhood is right about Garcia being open to counters but i think he senses the fear from Johnson who still hasn't settled. Johnson has to lead off, use the jab, get foot on outside of Garcia's lead foot. Dip and move head a bit more and put shots behind jab.

Garcia comes forward in straight line, open to check hook.

 

At the risk of opening a can of worms....this is the sort of card BoxNation should be getting esp. with the next few weeks being so poor.

johnson staying in the middle of the ri…WOH grace went in with a right hand and johnson sducks then lifts up toppling garcia under the ropes. almost a citron/hopkins dive there. johnson looks a bit tired, johnsons throws some right hands to the garrcia guard. garcia charges, johnson taking some hard shots bu he rolls with the punches, johnson looks like he is blowing already, garcia just walking straight through him, johnsons waiting too much.

Garcia is fighting with not much respect for Johnson and that coupled with ring rust is making him sloppier than he's been in the past.

Tarver seems to feel Johnson is nervous and tightening up. It looks to be true and i feel bad for lad. He needs to move his feet more offset Garcia with that and feints and lead off more where he had some success.

 

Fights reminding me of a novice put in with a intermediate. Garcia is fighting as a bully hee and if i was Johnson's corner i'd tell him he's got a round or i'd pull him out.

 

round 4 - johnson lancing a jab garcia coming foreword….again.. Oh looping right hand to the body johnson got moved, left hand yt johnson but gets caught coming in. nice right hand again johnson having a walk about. he cant take punches like this and not do anything about it. uppercut left hook by garcia, and a left hook. johnson is being defensive…but getting hit for his troubles. left hook right hand. great combinations by garcia, being awkward with odd angled shots. garcia charges after johnson.

Johnson looking physically tough but he can't cope beyond that.

 

Johnson displaying nothing here to suggest a win is possible, Garcia hasn't been overly impressive other then athleticism and putting shots together which is always nice to see but not overly great.

round 5 - johnsons comes out with a double right jab left cross….all miss. garcia traps him in the ropes. garcia showboating a bit, with the low hands and cocky right hands leadsjohnson getting bullied, just throwing little in return, garcia doesn't seem like he is going to tire which is johnsons only hope, taking a few shots to the face does johnson. garcia just rumbles forward and….the clinch, left hook tho the body. jonson retunes with a left hand. over hand left followed by a overhand right by garcia.
