I believe that to, and that's probably the reason he choose to take Bute on right away.

I really like Sillakh and think Bunce's rant about him was the biggest load of crap I have ever heard on Tv.

The part where he laughed I found pretty interesting when listening to him.

In any case, I tend to agree with Sillakh's conclusion regarding Ward-Bute.

I agree with him. Interesting to note he didn't rate Ward that highly until he got into the ring with him. Think that has been the case with quite a few boxers.

Yeah, he's one of those guys. Nothing especially flashy. He just has a very high ring IQ and all the tools to make it all work.

That people always seem so surprised after facing him leads me to believe he's far more deceptive in his technique than meets the eye.

Been a big fan of Sillakh since I first saw him on FNF. I predicted big things for him back then and I'm not changing now.

I was about to ask what everyone thought of him.

He is talented, and anyone with over 300 amateur wins is someone to be taken seriously. He looked good against Despaigne.

And it does seem as if neither Hopkins or Dawson are eager to face him.

You have that kind of amateur pedigree and you're going to have some very well-honed skills. But he's not like a lot of guys who had that many fights who resort to slap-punching. Sillakh's style definitely fits the pros. To me he stands out as a guy who doesn't have one amazing attribute, but he's got the size, ring intelligence, technique, and pop to really go far.

    Agreed on all counts.

I really wish there was film of his sparring sessions with Ward.

even Ward feels that way, that's why he want to go to Canada and take all that $$$ and that paper belt.cause everybody can destroy Bute...Ward,Dirrell,Kessler,Froch,Abraham,Johnson,Green,Taylor and Bika. All thoses super6 heroes are better than Bute and as soon as Bute will face one of them he will be exposed as the bum he is.........quick question for a knowledgeable boxing girl like you : wasn't Green in Bute's undercard in november, making a honest buck even tho he couldn't make the weight?yeah,i guess it is true what you all say,Ward really fought the best of the best :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
