He came in looking for a paycheck and an easy way out. He doesn't have the heart for MMA, that much is obvious. I'm glad he is retiring for his own health, and for the sake of decent Main Events from here on out. What he did in his few fights that he had was exceptional... but the cats out of the bag and he simply can't deal with adversity or being hit... at all.

 

Also drew the lowest attendance to the Tokyo dome when he was iwgp champion and quit still champion refusing to drop the title first.

Sapp is more willing to take a punch. When Lesnar is hurt, he curls up in the fetal position.

I would pick Lesnar in a fight though because he would take Sapp down.

Check out Dong Sik Yoon vs Manhoef. Dude had a slit for an eye with the same injury and he had no striking background to speak of. Likewise Wandy vs CC 2. Wand had a broken orbital. Neither man crumbled like Sapp did.
