exactly. fedor is mma boss ultimatly because he is know as the best #1 fighter ever worldwide and not some promoter who would be nothing without his billionere friends. fedor wanted an UFC contract, but he wanted a contract where he still could do his sambo matches and still make other appereances, UFC wanted to impose their rules on him and thats when fedor said "enough".
Fedor got his beatings he should have gotten a long time ago except he took an easier road plain and simple, then when he stepped up he got what was coming to him. When he fights another live body don't be surprised to see him go down again. He should stick to fighting freaks shows and hasbeens so his fans can still live in his glory.
Hard core fans? back in the day most of the good fighters went to pride because they made more money, it's no secret Pride was better and had most of the best fighters in the world. but this isn't 2006 and that ship has sailed. I've watched pride and even watched repeats, but life moves on unlike some people here who keep bringing it up and then everytime a former pride fighter loses the excuse bells start ringing. Most "hardcore" fans can watch anytype of mma not just live in the past.
