Tyson-Bruno 2 - I was in a bar in Myrtle Beach with a bunch of friends and was only there about an hour or so and I felt really sick, went outside to the car park and puked my guts up, missed the fight. Interestingly, my very nice ex-girlfriend (Asian)saw me go out and brought me back to my apartment, whereas the current hoe at the time (Yank) was inside and stayed in the bar, but I took advantage of the situation later that night, when I felt a bit better.

I remember that fight pretty well. Before the fight I was in denial. I was making myself believe that Roy just got hit with a perfect punch. It happens in boxing. I thought Roy could come back and get a belt with ease(IBF I believe). Throughout the fight I started to accept reality. Roy was getting his kicked. When Roy got KOed, I thought he should have retired. That KO was ugly.

    Lewis - Rahman I.

I stayed up 'til the early hours as the Beeb were showing it, free to air. Did not think The Rock had any chance of winning :?

The ending sticks out in my heade because the hbo cameras showed his twin sons. They were at least teenagers but sobbing like babies. I dont know how fighters can bring their families to a fight.

    Dunne vs Cordoba

I refused to drink as I had I really wanted to remember and judge/score the fight. Ran home early to watch the biggest night in Irish Boxing since Collins-Eubank. ****ing great fight. I was almost in tears after.

    Vargas vs De La Hoya

I was 12 years old sitting on my living room floor. Watched one of my all time favourites burst out and bully Oscar only to be beaten down eventually. Gutted.

    Mayweather vs Hatton

Drunk as **** for this one. Argued in work how PBF would stop him late. For some unknown reason put money on Mayweather to stop him in the 9th and the 11th at 38/1 each. By the 9th we all knew what was coming then he ****ing held off and didnt finish him, breaking my heart in the process.

    Mayweather-Hatton.

I went to the Duddy-Eastman card in the Kings Hall earlier then after that I went to a local pub where we had a lock in until 5am, I took it easy on the beers as I wanted to enjoy the fight, but it was a great night, and atmosphere.

Interestingly, in a pub that would routinely support any team that is playing England in football, everyone was rooting for Hatton. Gotta love aul Ricky, I was gutted for him to be Ko'd like that, but a great night all the same.

Ah, yes; won't forget this one in a hurry either! I had sort of fallen out of love with boxing a little following Lennox's retirement but the rise of Our Ricky helped me to fall back in love with the Sweet Science.

That night, think there were around 20 people in our living room for this one. The Hatton Hype Machine was at its zenith so our Ricky had been built up as a marauding mauler who was going to walk through Floyd :bbb .

Like you, I tried to tell everyone that Money was a bit special and was going to finish the fight teeing off on Hatton but no-one could hear me over the chants of 'There's only one Ricky Hatton!'. :patsch

Damn I didn't see that. I hate how the cameras show other fighters families during and after the fight. When I did amateur boxing, my family was at everyone of my fights. My parents aren't like most though. If I lost one round my mom would jump up and scream, "Beat his ass the next round!". My dad always yelled instructions. My girlfriend(at the time) was a huge boxing fan so she was supportive during my fights.

zahir raheem and erik morales sticks out in my head as well. i remember telling my friends raheem is all wrong for morales and it was a terrible build up fight for his second fight with pac. i put $50 on raheem and won $200. my friend wasn't so sure but he's a bigger gambler than me and asked me if he put money on raheem and lost would i pay him back but if he put money on raheem and won i wasn't getting ****. i remember saying **** no because he gambles in the hundreds. so he ended up putting 300 on morales and he looked at me with disgust. during the fight what stuck out the most during the fight was how imcopetent morales corner was telling him to worry about the ref instead of the opponent, and pouring waters inside his trunks to wash his balls. i think there's even an audio clip of that being translated by hbo translators.

Trinidad vs BHop: was screaming at Tito so somehow he could catch Hopkins with something or survive to pray for Don King to pay off some judges and then BOOM!! Superman goes to the canvas. The ride back home was with heavy traffic and everybody was so quiet. This was in PR.

SSM vs Floyd: 2nd Round... Screaming and praying that Shane would land a second similar shoot.

Calzaghe - Hopkins I was sitting in the packed out sportsbook of Caesar's Palace in Vegas. It was the best atmosphere I've ever watched a fight in. It was made up about 50/50 of British fans and Americans. Whenever Calzaghe landed a punch half the room cheered. When Hopkins landed the other half cheered. Really friendly atmosphere as well. Shared drinks with some Americans who gave banter as good as they got.
