DM was a bigger fighter, but he was also slower. I think that Froch could have and would have fought him much the way that he fought AA, and would have won.

DM was not particulary slow. Especially his jab could be very fast.

Agree. Froch is herky jerky and has some pop. Griffen gave Dm fits until the ref saved his ass and Froch with more power could do the same.

Froch is a world class SMW.

DM was a good well protected LHW.

Froch stops him in the 11th.

Ward's domination of Froch and Kessler really showed the true depth of talent at super middleweight is not that great. Simply throwing the tournament together and giving these fighters more exposure doesn't change the fact that many of these fighters were flawed and while they are good fighters they are are not elite. Kessler and Froch are good fighters but neither are great.

DM is bigger, stronger, hits harder and has the better jab. I see DM grinding down Froch and stopping him late. Froch's defence is too porous and DM would dominate him on the inside.

Pole Vs Pole match up here...

DM, dude hit hard. I think he could of knocked out Karol Forchowski if the same karol showed up from the Ward fight.

Froch wouldn't have a realistic shot to win this fight.

I cant believe anyone is asking this.
Froch is a limited SMW who has never beaten anyone at SMW who has done anything at the weight other than faded R Reid and B Magee. We dont even know what Froch could do at LHW.
Michalczewski was a world champ who made over 20 defences, won the WBO WBA IBF titles and beat the WBC champ who was wrongly stripped. Dariusz also won a CW world title. Dariusz resume is very good and he would have been too technically good for Froch.
I think Daqriusz would be along way in front before stopping Froch. I could imagine the fight being similar to Michalczewski/Prince fight

Froch to be honest. The top level back when dariusz was on top was the level of Stieglitz, Andrade, Bika. Those would have been the top dogs back then.

Now - the level is higher than ever at SMW. Only a guy like Calzaghe would still have been top dog today.
