Arum ought to be quiet on Martinez if wants the questions about that fight to go away. I guess it's better than claiming they want the Martinez-Macklin winner, with no intention of following through with it like Floyd did. They don't want to fight Martinez. He would be too much for Pacquiao who has maxxed out his weight at about 145 and would be giving up 9lbs in a JMW fight. Boxing fans should move on.

all he's saying is that Martinez's promoter needs to do a better job of promoting Sergio.

BUt he's also not putting his cashcows against Sergio which is f*cked up. But I'm more mad at the WBC than anything

All you have to do is have a good memory of the post history of *******s and you will see the true definition of HIPOCRISY!!! Listen to this ****....Martinez is a "No-Namer" and "Hype-Job" but all of them are now dying, kicking and screaming for FMJ to fight him. Now watch this one, ready....These idiots are saying that Martinez " has no business fighting WW's anyway" this is because they know that if Team Pacquiao should take this fight (Which we all know that they WILL NEVA' fight Martinez) they would want Martinez to come down to WW....but if FMJ fights Martinez, they would FMJ to move up. I just got dizzy trying to explain their logic.

Why does PAcquiao need to fight Martinez? Explain this to me. Martinez is a fuking middleweight. Pacquiao is barely big enough for WW, let alone 154. Did you see how tiny he looked against Margarito, and that was at a catchweight. How is that a fair fight? Floyd shouldn't have to fight Martinez either. He's not even that good to begin with. Nowhere close to elite imo. Look how he struggled in his last fight against a nobody. If Martinez had any balls he'd go up and challenge the guys at 168. Why isn't he catching **** for chasing smaller guys?

Arum is a selfish old ****, seriously boxing would be better off without him

He wont make Mayweather/Martinez V Pacquiao/Chavez because he knows his fighters will get beat and he can make more money from inhouse fighting.

Hes slipped up before with the Marquez and Salido fights where they upset his cash cows ( well Marquez nearly did )

Arum only cares about money but *******s will defend him because he is pacquiaos promoter so rather than listen to reason and logic they will blindly follow anything the old ******* says because what bob says goes.

Pathetic how people can be fooled by this slimy *****

The ****? Ok lets talk weight. Margarito outweighed Pacquiao by about 20 pounds even at a catchweight. Pacquiao weighed in at 145/146 against Margo in a fight at JUNIOR MIDDLE. Martinez will easily rehydrate up past 160, and outweigh Pac by at least 15-20 pounds. Yeah we have weight divisions in boxing. That's why WW's don't fight middleweights, and vice versa. Tell Sergio to fight people his own size. Look how his overrated ass struggled against a nobody in his last fight. He's just a b-level fighter riding the hype off a lucky KO against PW, and he's chasing a big payday. If he didn't enjoy a huge size advantage over Manny or Floyd, they'd both make him look like a chump.

Soooooo.....You expect fights to be made or not made based on how a fighter rehydrates?:patsch Please tell me you are not saying that...PLEASE!!! Margarito weighed in at the "agreed upon" weight of 150lbs (Although I don't understand catchweights for a ****ing title...Yet your Idol has done it twice). As far as Martinez is concern...you are not saying anything new to me about him being overrated....I have been saying that **** for years and its been documented ON RECORD!!! But the subject of this thread is how Team Pacquiao just seems to arbitrarily pick n' choose on what fighters to call "no-names" and claims of "No-one knows him" yet goes out and fights a fighter with less of a name in Clottey, who was coming off a loss and held NO BELT / TITLE. Straight Bull**** and you know it. It doesn't make you less of a Pacquiao fan to call team Pacquiao out and acknowledge this bull****. But as usual...Team Manny All-Mighty Pacquiao can DO NO-WRONG in the eyes of *******s.

    Yeah, it's kind of funny.

Mayweather fans joke and honestly assess fights like Mitchell and Bruseles. Even the Gatti win is realistically thought of.

But Pacquiao fans honestly can't... Clottey was dominant and coming off a deserved win (unless we are talking about Cotto too, in which case I will change my assessment). 3K Battery is a great win, just look at his name. Margarito was P4P material when Pac beat him. Jorge Julio was prime as ****. Hector Velazquez and Wetha Sakmuangklang, oh yeah, ATG wins. Don't forget about the 19-7 Mira defense back in the day. Mosley was still #1 at 147 and #3 P4P just like when Floyd beat him.
