Arce is another good pick. Morales is worth a shout too. He should get a lifetime achievement award at least.

I could agree with this if Ward wasnt such a spoiler/mauler up close that kinda dampens the excitement for me.
Its effective but it can be ugly.

Sound fundamentals/skills do excite me though.
In that aspect i found Marquez making Pac look like a amateur very exciting to watch.

Think ill pick Donaire... great fundamentals/skills + exciting style.

    Seriously.

Agreed but only due to him having a year that was too good for him to be considered the most exciting fighter of 2011

I'd say Rios. Kirkland, close second.

What about Kirkland ? HE fought 6 times this year. OK mostly against no-hopers but at least his fights always ended by a KO/TKO. Plus we saw him getting KTFO against Ishida where he was supposed to shine and then he came back against Angulo with a TKO win even though he was the underdog.

Edit : actually James had been mentionned a few times already. I hadn't read the whole topic. :hat

I find Donaires style very exciting sue me :bart
He tried his hardest to make Narvaes fight him... hardly his fault.

Suppose on a pure action standpoint you cant go wrong with Morales then if i really have to change my pick.

To me even though a slugfest can be exciting like what Kirkland shows, if its done with proper technique it just makes it better to me.
So in that aspect i guess Morales is a solid pick.
