If that is his point of view thats fine. To me its not hurting anyone and he is a consummate professional in and out of the ring. So I dont see what the big deal is.

Obviously he got his words messed up. I think he was meaning he was going to give God all he's got.... Do his best to the Glory of God.
God doesn't need any of our strengths, we need God's strength. To think how much wrong we do, to think how we constantly fail (even if we try to do what's right all the time), how much insecurities we have, and the bible says he loves us anyways, and STILL wants to use us.... Were blessed to be able to work, and to *represent* him.
Definitely a big fan of Ward, and what he represents. In the bible they accuse the Apostle Paul (Jesus' disciple) of preaching so he could be popular. The same circumstances apply today as it did over 2000 years ago. he says if I wanted to be popular I would not be preaching God's word. Same way with Ward, and this thread is a prime example of the hate you get from people for representing god. The bible also calls us to be radical for God, and even those who love God... Get angry at those that are more radical than they are about God (Tim Tebow springs to mind).

 

Abraham, Dirrel, and Froch have beaten NO ONE near the level of Bika, Berrio, Mendy or Andrade. I hate Ward ATM because he lobbied to keep BUTE out of the s6, and ducks him as soon as he wins the title.

If he simply fights the best or the next best fighter, Bute, and WINS, I'll be all about Andre Ward is the best SMW of our time, and possibly AT (we'll see).
