Except Calzaghe and Ward, The only close fight Kessler has had his entire career was against Froch. So either Froch is the no-name fighter or this is just another poster talking out of his ass.
Case and point : Bernard Hopkins was more technically skilled than Roy Jones Junior. Roy Jones Junior was more natrually gifted in terms of athleticism than Bernard Hopkins.
im for the fight, but i'd like Dirrell to have one more tune-up fight before fighting at that level again... Looks like he's got more confidence in his punches... yet to see if he's got a champion's heart when faced against strong adversity, and his immature antics & hijinx start coming out instead
Of course I'm serious. Depending on your definition of 'serious' I guess. Pretty much a given that Dirrell would use his legs and not stand there and brawl. Not his style.
I'm going to venture to say that Kessler is a better fighter than Abraham, and Dirrell probably hasn't progressed too far beyond the form that he showed against Abraham.
I disagree. While I have never been too huge on Dirrell I do think he is better than Kessler and would outbox him soundly.
In all honesty I have always been fairly certain that Abraham would not win a round if he were to face Kessler.
I agree.....which is why he should be looking for Allan Green all the way, or maybe even Sakio Bika, although that would definitely be a bit much after such a long layoff.:deal
I agree, Bika would not be a good matchup for Dirrell right now. If Froch was able to manhandle Dirrell, Bika would do much worse.
