What a great fight, Calzaghe is a legend. Hopkins was pretty much in his prime but Calzaghe was well past his best with brittle hands. If that was a prime Joe he would have finished the fight in under 3 rounds. :thumbsup

Jeez, I hope not. Only good thing is that the opener was so ridiculous that most should be able to see through it.

If that in your opinion is a great fight then YDKSAB

It was an ugly, boring, dirty fight without any fireworks or real entertainment bar the early KD.

If you think a prime Joe would finish Bernard in 3 rounds you are a mong.

If Hopkins didn't buy some time with the fake low blow he would have been stopped due to exhaustion. That was a great move by Hopkins though.

Calzaghe is great in the same way Mayweather is great. Undefeated only because they never fought any decent opposition. Except Mayweather did fight Corrales and Castillo at their primes. Who did Calzaghe beat in their prime?? Kessler?? Ohhhh kay...

    Former WBC Champ Robin Reid
    Former WBC Champ Richie Woodhall
    IBF champ Jeff Lacy
    WBA/WBC Champ Mikkel Kessler
Wrongfully former WBA Champ Byron Mitchel
Wrongfully former IBF Champ Charles Brewer
    World rated Sakio Bika
    #1 contender Mario Veit x2
#1 contender Omar Sheika (coming of a win against Glen Johnson)
Former Contender star Peter Manfredo jr

His resume isnt as bad ad people make out to be, considering the other fighters he beat either avoided him when he was champion or were robbed of their belts by ottke who ran from Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins sat on his belts til he was beat and then skipped the supermiddleweight division to fight Tarver and Wright until facing Calzaghe and with Jones moving up to lightheavyweight and heavyweight he didnt have much choice on who to fight.
