Lets not get carried away about Froch, its been very mislead.
Froch lost to Kessler (coming off a loss) and Ward
Abraham was coming off a loss and not been able to do anything at SMW
Dirrell hasnt done anything at SMW, his biggest win is arguably Oganov
Johnson has a terrible SMW resume, losing more fights than winning and done nothing at the weight
Taylor was 1-2 in his last 3 fights against Froch and done nothing at SMW, then gets KOd by Froch and beaten clearer in his next fight.

Other than faded Reid, the most accomplished SMW Froch has beaten is B Magee

 

When Ward beats Bute peopel will simply say that who has Bute beaten etc. its a lose lose situation.

 

Great post! I always felt that Kessler and Dirrell showed us that Froch didn't have the tools he needed to beat the elite but his willingness to fight anybody and his colorful attitude blinded us to that reality....Well, maybe blinded is a little too strong, but you get my drift.

 

To expound on that, Froch filled a void in the division. He was a skilled brawler with more talent than say, Johnson, Green, and Abraham. But you had to feel like he was gonna outclassed by Ward.

 

I read this four times and can't make sense of it. Can you rephrase it for those of us that aren't very eloquent?

 

lol @ failey. this is what he wrote about froch when he said froch would beat abraham and now since ward dominated froch he is all of a sudden nothing. LOL. Whioch is the reason why noone takes failey seriously.

werent u a froch fan until he got whooped by Ward? anyways, i really dont care much for froch but all i know he has done more then Bute has ever done. win or lose he still fought the best in the division and bute hasnt. how do we know Bute would win against those guys if he hasnt fought them?
