It looks like he won't be fighting Mayweather next, and he couldn't beat JMM in their most recent fight. Will he have a tuneup like match to rebuild his confidence?

Cue shitstorm and irrelevant references to Mayweather's jail time.

Maybe Bradley is next so that would be an easy fight for him......Tim has very little power

Pac should take on peterson at 140 and take his belts, then the braldey figfht while have as much meaning as bradley vs khan did last year.
Make bradley vs morales winners face pac vs peterson for 140 dominance, with pac slowing down its smarter to drop down anyway since he is small fro 147 regardless at 140 he will fit right in.

IMO he's been taking fairly easy fights (for him) since Marquez 2, so i can't see that changing

Well I think he could beat JMM "In their most recent fight" considering he did beat him. He got the decision, and besides... Even if you gave JMM the victory, though I'm not sure how, maybe based on him doing better than everybody expected, then not like it was a clear win for JMM. It was a close fight.
As for his next fight... If I were him I'd just destroy Peterson. I don't necessaily want to see this massacre (though I'll watch), but as far as a confidence booster, he's fighting a fighter who came off a sensational win (seems *****s think this is the most important aspect of the game), a champion, and you avenge your idiotic sparring partner

Pac really doesn't have many other options honestly. Martinez is a bit to big (maybe after the Mayweather fight win or lose it'd be ok for Pac to fight him), Bradley is ok and I think Pac destroys him pretty easily but you run the risk of headbutts and cuts, the winner of Berto/ Ortiz... Unless it's Berto then nobody wants to see it.

Bradley would find a way to make emmanuel look bad imo. emmanuel's flaws have really been highlighted, and Bradley is smart and hungry.

yes fighting at 130,135 and 147 in one year is easy. I bet if floyd fought cotto next then jumped to 168 to face hopins it would be brave?
fighting at welter as a former flyweight champion is sick, with that said I wouldnt mind seeing the opposition impove from guys like mosley to berto/bradley type.

what does bradley possess that could possibly make pac look bad other than a swift rock of a dome piece? seriously. I see bradley being fast enough to stick around as pacquiao gets into his groove and then it's a whitewash. bradley isnt in the same league, neither is peterson or khan without headgear.

Not close at all. Many people didn't see it as close including me. Look at the crowd reaction when manny was trying to celebrate. The polls taken on this site immediately after the fight does not show it was close.

Really? A blind man can see better than that.
Pac moved up 2 weight divisions to fight DLH, who 99% of this very boxing board said "DLH will knock pac's head off with a left hook." Of course DLH didn't show up in the greatest shape, but that's his fault. They said Hatton would tear Pac apart.... They said Cotto would shatter Pac's glass body... Margarito was TO BIG... On and on and on...

Whenever Mayweather retired people wanted to see him against Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. 2 years later and there just bodies that Pac layed to waste. Mayweather beat Mosley, but that's the only one from the list of good opponents people wanted to see him fight.

Oh please. People (including myself) were expecting a brutal KO. You talk about look at the crowd after the fight (the same crowd who was expecting a brutal KO), to read the board after the fight (same board who was expecting the KO).
A few days later and everybody that rewatched the fight were posting... Pac won, or it was closer than I thought, etc. Much different views.
I was dissapointed in Pac's performance, but he edged JMM out. He threw more, landed more, was the aggressor, etc. You cannot beat the P4P #1 fighter in the world, the cash cow of boxing by backing up and throwing counter punches. JMM didn't do enough to take a belt away from a paper champion... Especially not enough to take it away from Pac.

If you want to say JMM landed more punches in the first 2 fights. Yeah he did, and if it weren't for Pac knocking him on his butt then he'd have won those. He stayed on his feet this time, but did not land more, or throw more. He landed some great shots, but not enough IMO
There's a difference in how well you thought Pac was going to do, and thus he lost the event in your eyes, and what Pac actually did, and him winning the fight.
