    :huh

It's the truth, Hopkins on fight night was almost a 4 to 1 underdog. And it was commented on his ring entrance that the odds tightened in the previous hours leading up to the event. That means he was even more of an underdog when the fight was announced.

You ask people to bring you facts, but then when there are facts presented to you, you laugh them off. Hard to take you seriously.

    yes calzaghe was favourite.

mayweather will be favourite to beat pacquiao. if mayweather beats pacquiao in the phillipines with a corrupt ref and 3 phillipine judges, then he should recieve zero credit for it right?

hopkins was p4p number 3, and calzaghe moved to 175 for the first time. the fact that calzaghe was favourite just shows the bookies could see through america's bull**** p4p rankings :smooch

Malinga was a faded fighter though he would go on to beat much faded Benn after.

Had close fights with Benn and Eubank before that fight, if I remember correctly.

Mailnga was never stopped before fight with Jones.

Jones dominated him and knocked him out with one punch.

Good victory and a testament to Jones' brutal punching power.

Thulani Malinga went the distance with Benn twice and too both benn and Eubanks (his momma called him eubanks)-

to spit decision, also went the distance with Rochhiganni- and was taken out in 6 by Jones in between those fights

He also beat Robin Reid and lost on points to Woodall - bit of a pass the paper belt around routine here

If Mayweather beat Pac in the Philippines it really wouldn't mean much to the vast boxing public cause most (*******s excluded) believe Pacquiao, at this point, is "easy work" for Mayweather. It's the casual fan that would be more shocked at the outcome. But you have to understand, Calzaghe had zero "casual fan" fame over here, and Bernard is not a big draw AT ALL, so gifting Hopkins with a decision really wasn't in the cards. So that in turn, meant fighting here in America wouldn't hold the same weight as Floyd fighting in the Philippines.

Joe had a rougher time fighting in Europe sometimes than he did here.

If Calzaghe was a small SMW then gaining 7 pounds of healthy weight would be impressive. But he was a huge SMW, not much muscle either at 168, which means he definitely was naturally bigger and could put on weight no problem.

missed that and malinga was a good win and performance imo, though not a title fight.

that win always looked better on paper. toney was a mess that night. his record at the time flattered him too tbf. he'd had a few gifts & definitely didn't deserve that 0. his (non) performance against rjj had been coming. that win is barely better than cal's over rjj imo.

Jones had trouble with his hands and trouble making weight also. No excuses.

Get your facts straight. Roy was caught using a banned substance, not anabolic steroids. Floyd Mayweather was caught using a banned substance too.

Headgiver, I would think that trolling would get old after a couple weeks. You've been doing it a couple years now.

Calzaghe wouldn't even be competitive with Jones at 168. ANY version of Calzaghe. Totally routine, work a day fight for prime Roy. Ruiz would beat the living dog**** out of Calzaghe. Maul him and stop him in two.
