I agree.

Racist, stubborn, ignorant, arrogant arsehole.

Trying to think what I saw that made me hate him so much, I think it was HBO's Thriller in Manilla documentary. Watch that my friend and you'll understand how much of a **** that man is.

 

That was one of the most warped documentaries I've ever watched, filled with innuendo and spin, not to mention outright errors of fact.

You should dig a little deeper before making up your mind.

 

The man has my respect for showing enough compassion to walk away from Ali, rather than take the few large pay days that he had left.

That being said, I'm judging him on his comments on the racial side of things, he just comes across as narrow sighted and moronic.

 

He's always come across as a smug ******* to me. Especially in the Thrilla documentary.

I remember reading an article of The Ring where they critiqued Pacheco's autobio, and it said that he actually claimed that boxing became more humane and less barbaric as a result of his involvement in the sport.

 

Known for opening and running a non-profit medical clinic for under-privileged and poor minorities in the Miami area in the 60's.

 

I've always been a Freddie Pacheco fan. He was with Ali through all of the glory days. He offered excellent analysis during his time as a fight commentator.

He was biased towards american fighters, was awful in the Benn-McClelland not only for not having given props to Benn but also cause he ignored McClelland when he was seriously hurt and finally cause he was always under King's ruling in boxing.

 

I never like him due to the way he showed no respect to Joe Fraizer

 

He rode hard for Chavez before Whitaker dominated him.

 

Shitty commentator and seems like a total dick too.
