Bob Arum bad for boxing

    Bob Arum is a boxing mafia, his latest disrespect to boxing community comes through Sergio Martinez when says that nobody knows him. Because of people like Arum is that boxing is dying. It's not about true boxing anymore but about protecting their own economic interest. Another example is Guillermo Rigondeaux the best boxer in boxing nowadays that at 122lbs will never fight the best of the division like Nonito Donaire because of Arum protectionism. Bob Arum you are a shame.

    the dude is ****ing 80. he needs to just make the big fights! Its not like he needs the money, but he is acting like he is gonna be around for 50 more years!

    Are you seeing what he is doing..?!!!! How he's not making real fights...protecting Julio Cesar Chavez, protecting Donaire,etc....he is really a shame for boxing.

    Oscar De La Hoya is just as bad, look at the cotton wrapping of Canelo since he's been world champion...or the crying over the Khan loss...or the way he didn't get the right sized ring for the recent Andrade fight...

    Arum is just a part of problem in boxing. Boxers themselves are culprits coz of their primadona ego. The system itself is the problem.

    Exactly. Just about all the Floyd fanboys on this site Hate Arum just because Floyd hates him. Arum is scum, that's true, but he STILL makes big fights and is the best promoter today.

    But GBP is just as bad. In house fights. GBP has been notorious about the ol "bait and switch", screwing other promoters out of the few TV dates there are. Floyd only fights GBP fighters, yet they think nothing of that. Hell, Al Haymon won't even let his guys fight one another, yet they don't think he's bad at all. :roll:
