I saw an article on the mainpage by James Slater. I can see Huck taking a hard-fought points win. Whether or not Kapn Huck then goes ahead with his planned challenge of Wladimir will depend largely on what happens in Dusseldorf on March 3rd. :rofl Is he ****ing serious? Hucks only chance is a lucky caveman shot, and that is it. I still have doubts this fight even takes place. Both Sauerland fighters. Povetkin could box circles around Huck and knock him out whenever he likes, and Povetkin is a decent boxer, nothing special. Huck wont win a damn minute of this fight. Who of you ****ing lunatics is going for Huck? And who the **** is James Slater? Ulli Wegner is that you? :rofl
Maybe if Huck beat a few scrubs beforehand to see how he would adjust to the weight. But going in there against the WBA "regular" champ is just jumping into the deep end. I too think this fight might not go off...Surprised Sauerland is even putting it together.
Word is Huck already gained 35 pounds :rofl I just see this fight be a beatdown, schooling in every way. Cant see Huck getting into this fight at all. He never fought anyone close in skills to Povetkin. Lebedev is average and gave Huck all sorts of trouble. The funny ****ing thing is, Huck will keep his Cruiserweight belt if he loses to Povetkin at Heavy... :rofl SAUERLAND :rofl
People's dislike for Pov's ducking seems to be clouding their judgement of his ability. Huck has next to no chance.
Povetkin is clearly the 3rd best heavyweight out there to the K bros, and always was better and more proven at the weight than Adamek or Haye ever were. Having said that, he is no way invincible like the TS or a couple others are implying. A complete whitewash blowout where Povetkin can KO him at any time? I think not. 2011 Chagaev won 4 or 5 rounds over Povetkin. I'd pick Huck to narrowly outwork Chagaev (call me crazy, sure). I'm a big time Povetkin fan. Bigger than 99% on this site and would love a KO1, but no way should he be a 9/1 favorite here. Huck is at worst the 2nd best cruiser in the world. I doubt he loses every round or gets KO'd early. POVETKIN UD12, 9-3 or 8-4 type scores
