Dawson should have been disqualified. Dawson cheated for a win, but didn't get by with it...........and the ref? An idiot!

Personally,I want to see this fight. Hopkins, has nothing to prove but beating Dawson at this stage of his career is a "big" feather in his cap right now.

As far as Dawson "ending" Hopkins, I'm not sure. Does he have the talent to do that of course but he's still known for losing focus and being "Boring" Chad Dawson(apart from the Adamek win which was a brilliant performance). I think Dawson will come out pissed and if he were a common combination puncher Old Man Hops would stand no chance but he's not. It could happen in a rematch but Hopkins screwed the fans making a rematch look very unlikely. Hopefully Hopkins retires and holds his head in shame.

I believe Hopkins is gonna fight him and control the pace of the fight like he always does. He will make it rough and tough since there is no love lace between these two after the words blasted out by Dawson's corner concerning Hop's legacy but I don't expect nobody to be disqualified. We all will see if it stands that Hopkins is too old and rusty to face a young, fearless and atheletic LHW from New Haven. Hopkins already proved he can stand a good hard pace for twelve 3 minute rounds and Dawson doesn't have Hopkins's number or so they say. Good, I wanted this and keep fingers crossed.

No, because there isn't going to be a fight.

This is the same as Hopkins saying he wanted a rematch with RJJ for 8 years but always had something come up when the fight was proposed.

Different situations, the Jones vs Hopkins rematch was two egos who couldn't agree the purse split.

    Same talk though.

Hopkins wants NO part of Dawson. He'll talk about until he retires, but you won't see him in the ring with him.

Hopkins has devolved from a world class fighter into a world class *****.

    Damn.

Glad Hopkins acknowledges that Chad is the only thing for him and the "NC2" would not look good on his resume.

Unless one of the 168 guys moved up, which still wouldn't be as significant at 175, there is no one other than Dawson that makes sense. Cloud? I think not. Shumenov or Campillo? Yeah right. Cleverly? It'd have less meaning than the other three listed.

I'd get more respect for Hopkins if this ever does go down.

I'd keep my same pick: Dawson UD

I say stick it as a co-PPV main event with an Alvarez/whoever fight. Throw DeMarco/Linares II and Malignaggi/M. Hatton. I think that would sell big time actually... As much as I hate saying it, I am realistic and think Mosley would be a solid enough opponent. The PPV would sell big, no?

    Predictions:
-Dawson wins via "dislocated hip" sans x-rays
    -14 PPV buys
-Old racist fossilkins whines to get NC and title back
