And when u woke up, ur coffee was cold!!!

Really now, as much of a fan that I am of Kirkland, he isn't beating Miguel. Cotto would actually embarress James, turning and countering him to death and maybe even stopping him mid rounds...Let's be real, Kirkland has a punches chance and that's it!!

It's an interesting fight, although the TS is obviously quite bias towards Kirkland. I think it's a case where it's either an early round KO for Kirkland, or a late stoppage/UD for Cotto.

I like both fighters and would be entertaining while it lasted. Cotto however would knock kirkland out, possibly early on.

    Cotto hits harder than Ishida

Cotto would KO Kirklad on the ring walk without even landing a punch

Like a rabbid dog, Kirkland will come out hard and strong. Miguel will stop his attack with a double jab, left hooks and countering him early and like a dog...Cotto will terminte him with a vicious KO in 3-5 rounds.

Yea he's never lost an early round KO and he's only really displayed a dodgy chin at the lower weights.

He hasn't really faced anyone though with the punching power of Kirkland and this is at 154.

I think a Cotto win is the more likely scenario but Kirkland does come out fast and I think he would find the target reasonably early on. How Cotto handles a flush shot/combo from someone like Kirkland is something which remains to be seen, but an early round TKO for either of them is something which I personally don't beleive can be ruled out.

Put it this way, if Kirkland was able to stop someone like Angulo, you have to acknowledge that the guy has some power.

I see it like this, kirkland's got a significant puncher's chance but cotto has the best boxing skills kirkland's ever seen, and a punch that can knock kirkland down.

Cotto. Kirkland is a sucker for counters, and he'll be eating them all night.

Strangely enough I was thinking about this fight the other night, Cotto takes him out... but it would be great while it lasted.
