so many losses. so, so many losses he'd be a journeyman before he got halfway through and wouldbt be able to finish as there would be no point sanctioning the fights
Holmes, Shavers, Norton, Lyle, Frazier, Foreman, Quarry, Chuvalo, Young, Mac Foster, Bonavena, Williams, Patterson, Liston and Clark were all better than fighters who have beaten Wlad. Of those, I'd expect 5 or 6 to beat Wlad but given the fact he's lost to such poor opposition, you wouldn't write off any of those opponents. LaMar Clark may have been a 'decent' fighter at best but did he hit hard enough to knock Wlad out? Absolutely. Did Mac Foster? Sure. By the way, Liston is a horrible fight for Wlad. He'd fight someone who hits harder and has a better jab. Not a good thing for Wlad.
He'd likely lose to: Liston Frazier Foreman Holmes 50/50 Shavers Lyle He'd beat just about everybody else.
no point even asking questions like this you'll either just get obnoxiously biased posters downgrading wlad i.e the guy who claimed the first half of ali's resume would beat him senseless or else obnoxiously biased posters defending him i.e the guys who will be here shortly proclaiming him to be the g.o.a.t its a no win and no fact situation
Vlad would have lost to Doug Jones, but would of gotten a decision over Zora Folley but he'd lose the rematch. Also an aging Patterson would show up and give Vlad a run for his money and make Vlad really look bad in his win against a 40 year old Patterson. Also Vlad gets Knocked down by Mathis 2x's and pulls out the win. Vlad gets TKO'd by Machen in the 13th round!
loses to Foreman and I make Liston from the first fight a slight favorite. Norton, Frazier, Lyle and Holmes are all live dogs. A lot of people would make Holmes and Frazier favorites over Vitaly but I wouldn't. edit: Sorry, this is for Wlad only. I would favor all of the above over Wlad except Lyle, and throw Quarry, Terrell, Williams and Shavers in as live dogs.
