Wow there must have been two dozen fighters back then who would be dominant champs right now. Amazing how much better boxers were way back when.

Trying to slyly steer Koman to the British forum. I think he could find peace there.

Doesn't matter! Klitschko haters can keep living in the past all they want, but it's 2012, Wladimir and Vitali are the world champions and theres nothing no one can do about it!:D So the haters need to go and watch Ali or Patterson or whoever and stop wasting their time. Because they can change nothing.:yep Nobody can change history, the Berlin wall fell, deal with it!:lol::lol:

Alis resume contains a fair few journeymen better than Purrity, bigger punchers than Sanders & tougher guys than Brewster so its fairly safe to say he would have picked up more losses than Ali did, 7 or 8 seem likely though there could possibly be a few more.

Fighting 15 rounds & travelling all over the world wouldnt favour Wlad.

Yeah and when they retire, someone like Helenious, Fury etc will be champion, and there will be some idiot like you claiming they are better than K brothers, just because they are champions at that time :patsch thats your logic.
Wlad would be competitive in any era but he did not face any ATG fighters and still lost via KO 3 times...so there is big chance if he fought some of the guys Ali beat that he would lose, but yes i know he was green with 40+ fights...Wlad has best resume in family but he isnt best fighter even in his family:D

I guess it really doesn't matter in the end. I think Wlad would get **** on in the 70s, when guys would come in to go to war, older bro would hold up much better. But keep n mind if they fought in the 70s neither bro would have the special "training and nutritional supplements" they have today. Also they would have to battle more often going more rounds . . . that's hard on the body. Kbros are the best today, head and shoulders above the rest. Big bros is more of a warrior and if you were to transport them back in time (which is the way I look at things for there mythical matchups) I give a far better chance against the greats than wlad.

Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Holy, Lewis, Vitali, Wlad..............Fury?

Yeah don't think anyone will ever say that. But I guess you see the difference in class between the bro's and Fury to be quite small?

Wlad don't stand a chance. Most of these guys could lace them up NOW and still give Wlad hell. I firmly believe that the heavywieghts of the 70's are the Nephilim spoken of in the bible.

"The angels were cast out of heaven and lay down with the wives of men and created superhuman offspring"

Purrity beat Tommy Morrison who handed ATG George Foreman his ass.

That's not the question. I'm not interested in playing "who beat who beat who". It's childish and I can't be bothered dealing with a Klitschko fan who's entire boxing knowledge stems from 5 minutes on BoxRec.
