Really? Do you think something as simple as not having to dry up those last couple of pounds at weigh-in have something to do it with it? Or did you actually think Pac was trying to drag JMM up to a weight he's not comfortable. Think buddy....they're the same dimensions, what size advantage would Pac actually bring by intentionally handicapping JMM to 144?.

Do you hold Pac under the same criteria? He does have a history of bruising and swelling and he is 33 years old. Dude has 60 fights under his belt and has probably more scar tissue than JMM. So all things being equal, who had the more effective shots?

......"You're clueless if you can't grasp what I'm saying", usually when dimwits resorts to this kind of reasoning it is to compensate for a lack of a half-way intelligent response.

    Going into their third fight:

-Marquez weighed above 135 how many times in his career? 2

-Pacquiao weighed above 135 how many times in his career? 6

It's funny how Pacquiao is always the exception to the rule.

    Alvarez is 5' 9".
    M. Hatton is 5' 8 1/2".

Hatton had weighed at and above 150 many times in his career.

So Alvarez held no size or weight advantage whatsoever over Hatton, according to your logic if it were consistent.

People who felt JMM won can point to overwhelming numbers supporting their argument when it comes to polls from sportswriters, active and retired boxers, and fans alike.

People who felt Pacquiao won can point to a little facial swelling around the eyes.

Yes I think Pacquiao was trying to drag him up to a weight he's not comfortable at. Pacquaio had been comfortably fighting above 140 for over two years. 145 was the most Marquez had ever weighed on fight night at the time the fight with Pacquiao was signed, and he was largely regarded as undersized at lightweight. Of course, at the time of the signing he had officially weighed in above 140 exactly once and looked bloated and slow vs. Mayweather. A repeat of that of course was the specific size advantage Pacquiao's camp (who, let's be clear, were far from strangers at trying to gain advantages on the scales) was counting on, though Marquez was smarter about moving up this time.

So you're saying Pac is a full-fledged welter, while I'm saying he's a blownup lightweight campaigning at welter. Then you bring up Alvarez and Hatton as some sort of parallel. Go check out the tale of the tape and you'll find your answer. Hint--it's not only the weight, it's the dimensions. Get over this semantic ****, don't act like you don't get the point. Don't argue just for the sake of arguing....I think thats the problem with you people. Now you're saying Pac is real welter.....make a poll and figure it out. Ask Doug Fischer at Ring and ask him what he thinks. I don't have the patience to do your homework for you.

Reach, sure, that's cool... Still, YOU brought up fight night weight. YOU shouldn't have brought it up the way you did if you didn't believe what you said was true or meant something entirely different.

To respond to your last statement:

I already know what Fischer would say.

Pac has been ranked at welter by The Ring for about three years.

    He's a welterweight.

If he wasn't a welterweight, he would have been fighting at a different weight over the past three years.

It's as simple as this. They could've held the fight at 300 lbs and it wouldn't have mattered because THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE therefore they could have come in at whatever weight they're most comfortable in. Not fighting at 140 was just a way for Pac to bypass the slight dehydration process if there was an actual 140 limit.

    You're worthless.

According to everything you have said, if you were consistent, the following statement would be true:

PaoloMirani believes that Guillermo Jones is still a welterweight. Just fighting at cruiserweight for fun. But he's a welter. He only fights at cruiser to bypass the dehydration process.
