Dana is the man. He's a promoter so he speaks out of both sides of his mouth but that's the nature of the beast. I don't think there's ever been a promoter with the monicker - the World's Most Honest Promoter. Dana is a fight fan but mostly he just serves as the public face of the UFC to draw attention while guys like Joe Silva and the Fertitta brothers do all of the real work behind the scenes.
He comes across as someone with SPS (Small ***** Syndrome, Probably brought a bigger one since ) he's just a **** sure he has done great things for MMA but personally I also think he is holding It back with his childish grudges and childish behaviour when things don't go his way.
He should stop swearing, there is nothing more annoying than having 15 year old kids coming speaking to you at the gym and saying I'm Dana white, **** you ****, its ****. News flash...... UFC events are live in Korea at 10 am for free, kids watch and tell their parents the head of the company taught them how to say **** and **** etc etc.
First off I want to make it clear that I have nothing against Dana he was at the UK prelims in person met all the guys shook our hands and made us all feel welcome as a ambitious MMA fighter, I lost a an younger more ambitious guy to the end of the prelims and the guy who beat me was offered a place on TUF but turned it down because we just wrestled and he knew I would best him badly if we threw punches, and I'm not even that good, I'm a lecturer with Judo who likes to fight. I'm not sure if it is the way the UFC is run, or if Dana is a control freak but he is the boss he has to be more professional if the UFC is going to become a main stream sport, I associated him as our guy who likes to fight but the sport is much more..... but he isn't 'our guy' he is the guy who makes us money and promotes our sport, and I don't want him using the language repertoire of a middle class kid who has listened to one too many tucpac records. He just has to grow the **** up.
:yep He is a shark swimming in a pool of sharks and people wonder why he bites. Imagine having to deal with the ego of every fighter, camp, media, sponsors and sponsors. :yikes
Rachel Leah is awesome. IF Dana nailed it then good on him. Unfortunately, he got sold out by his own mum!
dana white should host a new show called "WHO WANTS TO BE A BOXERCISER" Dana white: " DO YOU ****ING WANT TO BE A BOXERCISER OR NOT!!!!"
The guy needs to learn tact because as it is, he's clumsy with the way he presents himself. A company spokesman needs to look and act the part, especially when trying to sell a product that involves guys getting elbowed repeatedly in the face.
