Ibeabuchi pisses over the contenders of today that's for sure. He'd crush Haye, Chambers and Povetkin.

maybe it was an overrated era but dont you think durable plugs like besmanoff or gerhard zech resembles stander's level? how about wayne bethea? scrap iron johnson was also in the ron stander mold...

Poor Fury  He'd get wasted, and I like the kid, he's tough and he comes to fight. But F'n Hell :patsch :good

He's fun fighter to watch - his last fight against Pajkic was like Hagler-Hearns:D

    Only little bit less technical.

    Just a little bit:lol:

Haye would have a lot more bothering him than his toe if he ever fought Ike.

I never even seen these names besides of Bethea whom fought liston and got stopped by him (?) . surely not on stander's level . stander was h2h tougher than both Doug Jones & Jerry Quarry . I hope that this comparison helps .

I have seen a lot of stander. Ron was rough, tough and game but limited in the same way that good trial horse types like scrap iron johnson and willie besmanoff were. Liston would have not been knocked out by stander like shavers was. Dont you agree?

stander could take norton's,frazier's & shavers' punches .
as i stated he was tougher h2h than doug jones & jerry quarry .
i have no idea who r those guys u mention .
i guess that if they were that tough i would have had some idea about them . d safer bet is on liston beating stander , but liston was not that unstoppable force that SonnyListon'sJab keeps suggesting . taking **** from marty marshall & johnny summerlin was not a great feat , and who did sonny liston beat ? yes , i know d names , but if some1 could take his punches & land his own , who knows ? my guess will b that liston would have beaten stander , just not as easy&quick most believe . poor stander never got a chance 2 prove himself vs quarry , chuvalo , bonavena , cleveland williams (he would have probably stopped williams) , zora folley , if he did , he would have had more wins beside shavers even if his losses would have been more high profile due 2d exposure of fighting on high level .

Stander would have been knocked out by prime Jimmy Ellis.

Ibeabuchi would have caused problems for the Klits, can't see him being bullied like others.

To perform better than great Sosnowski or Arreola is a tall order - Ike's chances are minimal:)

the problem with Jimmy young and David tua is that they really put on poor efforts when they got a shot at the title
Tua had his worked cut out against someone as big as lennox lewis but he seemed to resign himslf in that fight and i think he came in too heavy.
jimmy Young should have won every round against that fat lazy muhammad ali and fought with a bit more aggresion to erase any doubt in the decison
