I'm surprised how much darker than him his mother is, so was Sanchez's dad light skinned like Canelo Alvarez?

We don't get many Mexicans in Australia, so I was surprised to see how dark Sanchez's mother was, but considering how light skinned Sanchez is, his father must be an albino Mexican or something.

It's all good, dude. Your boy got knocked out. You don't have to insult the man who did it. It just makes your boy look worse, in all honesty. You're essentially saying your country's best fighter couldn't even handle an "old black woman".

It's straight, dude. You don't have to cry about it.

    :yikes

Robinson collected about 9 HOF scalps (some on multiple occasions) and beat around 50 top ten rated fighters. His record is virtually unbelievable. To say he looks great on film is a bit of an understatement as well.

Sanchez had an opportunity to be rated among the very greatest of the last half century (from present) and it was taken from him.

I've probably forgotten more fights than you've ever watched.

Sanchez was good, but is vastly overrated. Just keeping it real.

Sanchez has no case over Chavez. That's flat out ridiculous.

Sanchez only had a good run for a few years. Chavez dominated from 130-140 and and didn't lose until he had 90 fights before he suffered his first loss. It's not even close.

Sanchez doesn't even have a case over Juan Manuel Marquez.

He was not clearly better than Morales. Morales has the bigger wins. Victories over Barrera and Pacquiao trump Sanchez's biggest wins.

Oh, I'd assumed this was about current Morales vs. Sal II (middling nephew of the great: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=308120&cat=boxer)

Sadly, at this point that might actually be competitive. :verysad

Except against Maidana that one magical night (and a few very brief glimpses of old brilliance here and there - for a round here, a minute there), EM has looked pretty damn **** in the ring for over five years now.

Sure Azumah looked great but that's more a testatement to his quality as a fighter. He would've faired much better if he had more time to train for such a bout.

Azumah, like any fighter with great pride, did want a rematch. However, Sanchez died less than a month after their bout.

Were you even alive when that fight took place?
