    that fight resembles WWE more than boxing. if you thought that it was a great boxing fight then you might as well have ordered wrestlemania.

    wow another joyboy who is emotional when someone suggested that floyd "looks" bigger as he always does in his fight. you are the same guy who said that hatton was a cherry pick for pacquiao at 140 so your opinion doesn't really hold that much.

    Floyd should thank ortiz for the head butt.....the contraversail ending provided Floyd a THIRD of the overall PPV buys which came through on the day after the live event. Still...great numbers but those who said 1.1 mill probably would have been accurate had not been for the WWE style ending.

    Well it wasn't HBO released, but Schaefer gave the official numbers as 1.25 million and one journalist said he called up to HBO and they confirmed it

    That's about as official as any of the PAC PPV's.... if it's good enough for Floyd then it should be good enough for Manny.

    no Bob arum has never said it was Official. He always said IT COULD REACH, or they ESTIMATE.
    Schaefer specifically said it was the official numbers and even gave the monetary figures

    But we are talking about an "OFFICIAL" announcement that is back up, validated and solidified. Schaffer isn't the guy who can "officially" claim the true numbers without the support of the Cable network who facilitated the event. And NO ONE from HBO has solidified the numbers.

    Bob has come out with "Official" numbers in the past and everyone starts questioning his numbers...Just because Schafer says "these are the official numbers" doesn't hold any more credibility than when Arum shoots his mouth off about the same topic.
