TKO10 Froch vs UD Froch UD Johnson vs KO7 Stieglitz TKO10 Magee vs KO12 Sartison UD & KO4 Andrade vs UD Andrade UD Bika vs UD Mundine TKO3 Miranda vs KO3 Beyer TKO4 Zuniga vs KO3 Haussler TKO11 Berrio vs RTD7 Siaca ...not necessarily in order of importance. What do you guys think? On par with each other? :think
The most important thing you ever need to know is the fact that Mikkel Kessler never took 4+ years to take on a legitimate challenge and leave his hometown, he defended against Mundine in Mundines hometown, he then tried to unify in WALES in Calzaghes hometown, WITHIN THREE YEARS of capturing his title. Bute has held his title hostage in Canada for over 4 years now with the best notable win against Glen Johnson coming off 3 losses in his last 5 fights.
In 2012 Bute will only beat "overrated old men and glorified slugger coming of a loss" Froch, like that will ever help his resume, be serious.
His best win to date is against a 43yr old guy coming off 3 losses in his last 5 fights. A win against Carl Froch would not only rival it, it would blow it right out the water. Ofcourse, he has yet to leave the comforts of his home to defend a title, in FOUR YEARS. Its highly unlikely we'll see him do it in 2012.
'Within 3 years' was the extended, delayed timeline for Bute to face Kessler and unify. But that Super Six thing happened. :-( He fought the best available, uninjured supermiddleweights around. Kessler, Dirrell, Dawson, Pascal, Cloud were never even an option. Never received an offer to fight elsewhere, money was too good in QC. On top of mandatories, Showtime dug up ****in Magee for their 1st fight of the contract. You bet your ass they'll end the 3-fight contract with someone like Froch or Ward. Kessler IS a warrior, but don't make it sound like Bute IS a *****.
Yeah mean Bute should be more like Kessler. Why can't he be more like the great Dane. I mean he gave us Kessler-Calzaghe. To bad Bute didn't say after the super six he wanted Bute-Ward, and like the whole 2011 he never even mention Wards name actually he never even said he's willing to go to Oakland you know like the Great Mikkel Kessler was willing to go to UK. He should be put down like a rabid dog if because he held that title hostage by fighting the #3 ranked SMW, in his second defense of the belt who actually won the purse bid and decided to go to his enemy homeland-Canada to make more money.
Money talks, and there's lots in Montreal & Quebec City. As well Magic, if you don't rate Bute's win over Johnson, you don't rate Froch's win over Johnson. Which gives Froch a green Pascal, a shot Taylor, an exposed one dimensional Abraham and a hometown decision over Dirrell. Troll away now.
Neither were viable options. Fight them, get stripped. Get stripped, lose leverage in negotiations. Move up, struggle to come back down. **** that, and they straight up said it to the media.
Imagine if he fights the 46yr old guy next, think he name was Hopkins he comes of a loss to, by TKO I think. I mean based on resume Froch would Kill this guy.
