The only conspiracy going on involves the judge that scored the fight to Khan by 5 rounds despite 2 point deductions, I wonder if the little bellend mentioned that to the governing bodys?
Has the investigation into why Khan's fight against Barrera was allowed to continue into the 5th round just so Khan could get the win finished yet?
It should be noted that the actual judge, Hill, is not being questioned. Just how his scores were collected and tallied up. Due to a few inconsistencies, and IBF's scorecard going missing, Khan's lot believe a mistake, or tampering, could have happened somewhere. That's what they're getting to the bottom of.
I'd love to see a rematch, and as previously stated scored it to Khan and I am somewhat of a Khan sympathiser, but this is getting silly.
Rico, I don't have a problem with him trying to get to the bottom of it, it does seem a bit dodgy in all honesty but the way Khan has gone about it is all wrong, he has shown no class or dignity, he's an arrogant spoilt little child.
All this stuff is getting mad, the amount of press attention this all getting, something will have to get done on 17,18th when GBP and the bodies have the hearing. I think Khan will get a rematch decision in his favor. Someone needs to stand up to the boxing corruption, and I am glad Khan and his team are demanding answers, something does seem odd about all of this.
I don't think it's that silly. As mentioned, there are too many inconsistincies to just ignore and let the rematch slip away. Is Hat Man an official of some sort? If not, then what's he doing shuffling through the judges slips? The WBA scorecard had it a draw? How did he get that? Did he tally it up right or wrong? Because if he was right, then the whole verdict of the fight was incorrect. It should have been a draw Where was that IBF scorecard? That would have been needed at the time to give a good idea if the WBA scorecard was right or not. Why did it go missing? If these questions exist, I don't blame Khan for using it to push for a rematch. Especially if there's a chance that Peterson will fight someone else.
why did khan bring this into the public domain? deal with it in private and if anything comes of it, then announce it. all this bollocks about broadcasting it on twitter is just shambolic. he makes himself look so amateur.
Oh, for sure. Khan's been an annoying twat since that loss . But he's got a point here, I suppose. Even if, after the investigation's complete and Hat Man turns out to be a legit person, Khan would have still been right to ask these questions if it meant securing a much-needed rematch.
