I talked to my trainer years ok about old fighters and todays fighters he said that the top fighters of today r better than the regular fighters of yesterday but the great ones like Louis Robisonson Ali Armstrong ect. where years ahead of their time therefore they would do just as good now as they did then

 

Chambers, Chagaev, Thompson, Ibragimov, Brewster, Mercer, Shufford, and many, many more.:deal

Would have to disagree with the tread starter. I see Louis as the first proper heavyweight to come along who would hold his own in any era. I wouldn't say that about anybody before him.

yes, he or OR because of max who basically was boxing hitler at the time. i think he would get he's ass wooped against ali,fraizer,foreman,holmes,holy, tyson, lewis even vitaly and certainly i have forgotten a few. but americans are americans
