This doesn't take anything away from the fact that Lamont did the right things and Amir looked clueless for the majority of the contest.

Flea, I don't think it's a case of the governing bodies themselves "screwing" Khan over. It's just that there's a slight chance that someone could have made a tiny error somewhere, or worse, someone from outside the officials doing something dodgy. The fact that the DC Commission, WBA, and now the IBF, don't know the identity of Hatman :hat - who can be seen touching and reading official scores (lol) - is a cause for concern. Especially when there's the additional issue of Welsh having a different score from the rest (through mistake or not, is unknown), and the IBF scoresheet going missing.

Now, in my opinion, I think there's a reasonable explanation for all of the above, and no wrongdoing took place. The officials are holding out on giving definite answers, because they know it's a delicate issue which could spiral out of control if a well-thoughtout statement is not given. At most, I think someone has made a tiny mistake somewhere, and they're a little embarrassed to reveal it.

That comment confirms your KDL, Khan will get his rematch but seems like you want the result overturned. Peterson matched Khan throughout the fight. With or without Hatman..

True, but given how close the fight was & the surrounding controversy I think a No Contest is probably the best decision with an immediate re-match ordered. I feel sorry for Peterson - guy must be bummed. Unless of course Hatman is part of his team.

This is all fair, but you're not really one of the guys I was referring to :D :good

And to the Ali-Liston II pic' guy, a no contest is not the right way to go! A rematch is.

Let me clarify, My reference to Hatman & a possible link to Peterson isn't to put anything on Peterson - it is merely a possibility that came to mind after seeing Hatman alongside team Peterson after the win, per photo posted by Laz.

All of it is just crazy tbh & this lends me to seek a re-match.
