Options are open to the bodies, but the best and fair option is just to call for an immediate rematch, a N.C would be too harsh on Peterson who in my eyes still lost a close fight but did his best and shocked many with his performance.

 

Can someone please explain what influence Hatman could have had over the decision?

I don't remember touching paper and it magically changing what was written there. Even if Hatman had changed the scores (which makes no sense since it was during the fight and I don't think Walsh was a scoring judge), one of the judges would surely have noticed something was wrong.

This just doesn't make sense at all as a conspiracy. I don't see what possible point Khan has to make. The guy was right in front of his team and it's taken this long for them to say anything?

He had no influence but he was there and that creates doubt. The Twat Man will get this fight called a NC. He has hurt Peterson and validated in a mad, mad way all the moaning from Amir and his people. It's ugly because people are now talking about 'that fixed Khan fight' and it takes a long, long time to convince people they are wrong. Lennox v Evander was 1999 and still people talk about that like it was the biggest fix in history. NOTHING was ever proved.
This has the same alarmist feel to it.

Just saw a disgraceful report on BBC where they made out Khan dominated the fight and it was all a conspiracy to rob him.

Also on Sky earlier the joke "sports correspondent" claimed Khan was forced to fight in Washington.

Boxing is already down due to dodgy decisions that happen every week, if the sport was cleaned up it would keep more fans.
