Poll above and leave your thoughts below.

The judge in Mayweather's case has just granted Floyd, Jr.'s request to defer his jail time until early June, I think. So, it seems that a May 5, 2012 fight for Mayweather is on.

With a Pacquiao bout seeming unlikely at this point (doubt Arum will change his mind now after narrowing the list down to 4 names), who is PBF likely to face on May 5, 2012?

if it ain't Pacquiao then Manny and Arum are the two most pathetic figures in the sport.

yeah lets blame it all on Pacquiao / Arum. Like Floyd has been trying so hard to make taht fight happen over the past 3 years.

What does "narrowing the list" have to do with anything, what good reason would there be for him not to fight PBF?

Don't see that happening now. Think the ship has sailed on the May date, and my guess is Team Mayweather already has another opponent locked-up.

That doesn't mean there won't be posturing about Pac-May for Cinco De Mayo, but I can't see it actually happening then.

It means they have moved on without Mayweather. I will be stunned if that changes.

Pacquiao needs to open his mouth for once. Tell Arum to get in line, that you work for me, not the other way around. He's just a tool, otherwise.

But if it indeed doesn't happen, then I want Mayweather vs Cotto

    Only:

    Pac
    Martinez
    Cotto

    Are acceptable in my book.

The PED nonsense should have made things clear, IMO: Team Pac isn't being dictated to by Team Floyd.

Which means, in this case, I can't see any way Arum is going to change his list or plans now because of Floyd's granted request today.

I could be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath on this one.
