It Paul McCloskey ffs, not Muhammed Ali. McCloskey fans are even more delusional than Khan fans. Please don't waste any more words on me.
I dont care who if anyone messed with the cards, they got the result right in the end. Khan lost. Simples.
Ok, last one. Read up on all of Ali's fights (try Angelo Dundee's book) then reflect on what you have just posted. Its too funny. You might re-think your theories of boxing as well:thumbsup
Oh FFS... I just rewatched round 7 and that is a clear Peterson round BEFORE the deduction (has Khan running for his life, lands the better shots, controls the action). 10-8 was the right score. Plenty of cards take a while to get back to Buffer, especially if a judge hadn't taken account of the point deduction or had gotten confused. **** happens, it's no evidence of anything except that it took ten minutes. That ten minutes could have been taken up by GBP pestering the IBF and WBA reps to know the scores. Plus, are you telling me Buffer knew the scores before he had the cards? Nonsense.
I don't a problem with theories of boxing ffs, I have problem with McCloskey executing them. Went life and death with 40 year old Lauri.
So why should Khan act such a **** about it? There have been worse scores and worse refereeing than that fight. What a drama about ****-all.
Seriously? You still can't see why Khan's kicking up a fuss? I'll refer you back to just two of the strange things that happened: WBA guy tallying the fight to a draw (a completely different score that was read out). IBF having its scoresheet disappear. This would have been needed to confirm whether the score that was a draw, was correct or not. In other words, there's a slight chance that the split decision Peterson win that was read out, was not correct. Khan could have lost his belts under these circumstances, and you're still asking why Khan's acting such a ****? :huh You want him to sit quietly and ignore everything, instead? Let Peterson - who's had his attention turn elsewhere (Pacquiao) - slip away and not give him a rematch?
The main problem is that this slight chance of any wrong doing comes from nearly a month of Khan watching the fight back, desperate to find excuses as to why he's again lost to another average hand picked fighter. Meanwhile, last years fighters that genuinely got robbed have been busy working on their own flaws and trying to further their careers themselves (ie Marquez looking further, Chisora signing to fight Vitali etc)
But the guy that tallied the draw was NOT a judge. What's hard to understand about that? The IBF's master score sheet did NOT disappear. The individual cards did but, since they match what's on the WBA's master card I don't see anything dodgy. There is no chance that the cards were messed with because there would have been an inconsistency somewhere and the judge in questions would have been called on it. Khan has no grounds to make such an issue out of this. They've latched onto this near-fabled Hatman as a desperate last attempt to get the IBF/WBA to give the belts back to Khan. It's craven and pathetic.
