Burns - Crolla deal agreed for March 10

regarding the full "WBO title" , marquez has stated that he wants a fight at a higher weight before going back to 135 to defend his titles.

this is becaue he was stipped of his WBA 135 title , if he does comeback doen then hs has to face ricky burns OR lose the WBO title

 

Sorry folks, but I am hoping this fight gets re-scheduled. It is my Mrs 40th and we are having a big house party that night

One isnt happy at this news, in fact one is utterly dismayed that after Ricky beats a guy like Katsidis, its Crolla & then probably Mitchell:-(
Ricky deserves bigger fights than these, I will be raging if these Ricky rumours prove to be true, RAGING.

I expect Burns will stop Crolla & beat Mitchell on points, but after beating Martinez & Katsidis, it should proper big fight time, not more domestic dust-ups.
I can understand why the englanders generally are happy at this news, two chances for one of their own to get a world title(I know its interim, but that wont be for long)

****ing crap news for Burns & his fans if you ask me, we will be expected to pack out the Kelvin hall for the 'wee fight' by Frank, & then when its the biggie? Hes whisked away to London again so the undeserving Mitchell can pose for borderline poofery hammer posters againatsch

It's not a bad fight but if it had to be a British opponent I would much rather he just went straight for Mitchell before trying to go stateside to get a unification with DeMarco, who Burns is more than capable of beating. As I said though, it's not bad and I will be going along of it happens.

The WBO isn't very exciting man it's pish look at Clevs opponent .Mitchell is number 1 mandatory though I think that would good .Also I would like to see Burns smash Crolla as well tbh .

 

Cue Billy Nelson justifying this fight, and people waiting to ask what more Crolla has done to deserve the fight, when not long ago he was running his mouth saying Mitchell had done nothing to deserve a fight with Burns.

Not knocking Crolla at all though, he lives about 5 minutes from me, and I hope he does the business, with any luck I'll have the money to get up to this one and show him some support. All the best.
