I'd prefer Martinez/Floyd anyways. Two skilled fighters going at it are my pride & joy. Pacquiao/Mayweather should be the first option but if not possible then Martinez/Floyd is the way to go. I'd really lose lots of respect for Floyd if he fought Canelo.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl u cant prove **** wrong that i said *******. lol when did pac sell over half a mill in PPV @ feather weight? exactly *******
Cotto is coming off one of his biggest wins(1st is mosley, 2nd Marg imo) in his career so it's possible for Floyd to fight him I just hope it's Martinez if a Pacquiao fight can't get done.
pacquiao has fought 4 non-TR fighters since 2007, 6 if you would count jmm3 and mosley. floyd has fought "0" non-GBP fighters since 2007. :hi:
:hi: befor 07' doesnt matter because he wasnt a big PPV attraction at that time(there was no reason to be greedy). what none in-house fights has he done since Hatton?
It'll be Alvarez at 154....floyd don't **** with sissy catchweight ****, cinco de mayo....makes the most sense since team Pac are blatantly ducking and Sergios fighting in March. http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...yweather-fight
Crap Sergio is fighting in March! I doubt he can cancel that fight because the winner of Macklin/Martinez is ordered to face Chavez/Rubio by WBC. Not thrilled about a Cotto fight and many will just dismiss him as "Pacquiao's leftovers and victim" so hopefully him and Pacquiao can fight. If not.....Alvarez? Ewwwwww please God No!
Yesterday: http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7425490/manny-pacquiao-presented-four-options-next-fight Quote: "I'm not married to May 5, so Manny could fight on another date in May," Arum said. "If Manny's opponent is Marquez, I'd be much more married to the date." The reason is because Marquez is from Mexico and May 5 is the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo, traditionally a day when major bouts involving Mexican fighters are held. Today: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/spor...le+Feedfetcher Quote: Additionally, Arum said Pacquiao is still healing from a deep cut over one of his eyes that he sustained in the Marquez fight. "I don't know that he's on schedule to start sparring until the beginning of April," Arum said. "That's one of the things we'll discuss. If it is early April, we'll have to have the fight in late May." If this isn't a clear duck, then i don't know what is.
hatton was just 2009. floyd last non GBP opponnent was 2006. and pac fought free-agenst in his last two fights. did floyd fight any free-agents or fighters not involved with GBP since 2006?
