Mosley(WBA champ Ranked #3), Hatton(undefeated WBC and Ring champ Top 10 P4P ranked), and Ortiz(WBC champ Ranked #3) were all credible opponents when floyd fought them so who do u expect him to fight at that time? i really dont understand the point u are trying to make. and NOW floyd is trying to make the fight happen(non in-house fight) and arum is saying pacquiaos cut cant heal in may. if floyd dont wanna fight outside of in-house why dont manny and arum call his bluff? ur not proving any points wit this "in-house" ****

 

TBH I'm tired of the "he's not ready" excuse. He has almost 40 fights. He needs tests and I don't blame him for taking a Floyd fight much respect to him for that. I wouldn't give him a chance though. I didn't give Ortiz a chance either so Floyd needs a step up since beating Mosley. Fight Cotto if a Pacquiao fight can't happen.

he could have fought pac instead of marquez in 2009.

Pacquiao in 09? we all know the story. negotiations fell apart. Floyd agreed to Pacs demands of Ring and Glove size and agreed to 10 million per pound penalty if floyd is overweight. Floyd gives one demand OSDT and pacquiao camp has a problem with it. to further prove they ducked. i have seen interviews of pac himself saying bloodtests makes him weak and seen interviews of arum himself say that "Pacquiaos afraid of needles". 2010? same old ****.

floyd returned from retirement in 2009 to fight jmm. he has a chance to fight pacquaio but he picke marquez (a GBP fighter).

a negotiation for a fall fight in 2010 was happening and both greenburg and oscar said that it was close to being finalized until floyd took a vacataion and lost his urge.

floyd said he wants to fight the winner of martinez-williams during his vacation but fought ortiz (another GBP fighter) when he returned.

soon he would fight canelo on may 5th, his next GBP fighter on the line.

why would floyd fight pacquiao after a TWO YEAR LAYOFF. Marquez was a tuneup then negotiations happened, we found out pacquiao is afraid of needles, then the next best opponent Mosley(which team Pacquiao ducked) stepped up

 

why would floyd fight many tune-ups when he fights once-a-year? so canelo on may 5th is another tune-up like ortiz was a tune-up last year?

 

Ortiz was a tune up for PACQUIAO(southpaw) and u know it. marquez was tune up for MAYWEATHER(counter puncher) and u know it. Floyd called out pac for may 5th 2 weeks before the marquez fight but pacquiao ended up getting his ass kicked then instantly after the fight arum showed no interest in floyd and started talking about Pacquiao Vs. Marquez IV. then when arum talked about Mayweather vs Pacquiao he said pacquiaos cut wont heal until June. then when mayweather seemed like he was going to jail Arum said he wants pacquiao to fight in MAY. now that floyd is going to be free arum is talking about JUNE AGAIN!(the month where floyd has to turn himself in). please explain these actions by team pacquiao?

Mayweather Vs Canelo makes ZERO sense from a business stand point. Mayweather is close to hanging up the gloves for good and GBP are building up Canelo who is like 20 years old. Mayweather will beat him and they will screw up a future investment.

WRONG. cotto has shown interest in fighting mayweather but it was floyd's camp who thinks cotto is not a good opponent and not a draw in 2008. so why would you want mayweather to fight a green cotto back in 2005 when the biggest fight should be on 2008 when floyd instead retired?

so since 2007, pac has fought 4 GBP fighters, 2 free-agents and 5 Top rank fighters. meanwhile since 2007, floyd has fought exclusively 5 GBP fighters and it would be canelo next for 2012 as schaefer and oscar wants it.
